The Islander is a quaint, clean locally owned and operated motel right in the heart of Vero Beach. Owners live on site and are friendly and helpful! If you're looking for lodging with a local flavor, convenient to everything, the Islander is a great find!

Locally owned, a hop skip and a jump from the beach, CLEAN and the staff is wonderful! LOVED THE ISLANDER!!! Loved being able to get up and grab breakfast right down the street, chat with neighbors staying next door or hanging out at the pool. Yes, we will definitely be back!

As noted, the hotel is Old Florida and is a far cry from the huge anonymous beach hotels. The Islander Inn had everything we wanted...easy access to the beach, restaurants and shops within walking distance, charm and comfort. Staff were very accommodating and the facility was immaculate. Loved it and we will be back next year.

This beautiful little Inn is right across the street from a nice park and the beach. I paid $375 for two people for two nights and I was surprised with how pleasant the location was. The place is clean, top to bottom and the style has an old 50s feel I absolutely adore. I recommend the Islander Inn for anyone...

Staying at the Islander Inn is delightful. It's old Florida charm, white wicker furniture, cozy courtyard, extreme tidiness make for a relaxing and enjoyable get-a-way. The beach is across the street and everything you could want is within walking distance

I've stayed here a couple of times over the years. The location is perfect...across the street from the park which is on the beach. Walking to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, the beach. Comfortable rooms, quiet at night. Small pool, but fine for the price. Not fancy, but more than adequate.

A nice small property with nice quaint clean rooms and just a block off the beach, Staff was friendly and nice. The prices were reasonable for the season and the area. Lots of restaurants and bars close buy, as well as shops too.

I booked two rooms for my out of town guests after driving around and comparing other nearby properties. My guests had no regrets and stated that they liked the property and would stay there again if the opportunity arose. The rooms were clean, bright, updated and comfortable. The exterior of the property is dated but one has to understand that...

Great location across from the road from the beach. Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean, but need some curtains to keep light out. When sun comes out light comes in. Pool was cloudy, nice grill in court yard and gazebo by pool.

This small Motel is perfectly located on Ocean Drive just across the street from Humiston Park. Humiston Park is on the Beach. Convenient to boutique shopping and restaurants. Older property. Rooms are nicely and brightly decorated. Rooms are clean. I thought the grounds could use more attention and upkeep but overall not bad. For the location the rates were very...
