My husband and I stay here every winter. Karl is a great host and the hotel is very clean. Little piece of Old Florida in Venice. We take our Motorcycle day and enjoy the sunshine and Karl is more than accommodating with parking. We will be back next year :)

Nice cute little motel right on Venice island. Stayed there with my fiance, we enjoyed our stay very much. Clean sheets, towels and rooms. Excellent views of the ocean! Room was cleaned daily with friendly housekeepers.

We stayed here because it was dog friendly, the room was very odd shaped, like an octagon kind of , old place, but we like that. Charming, and nice pool, close to the beach and across from a nice path to walk our chihuahua. We have been to Venice several times to visit my husbands mother, I would definitely chose...

My wife and I made reservations based on the great reviews we saw on Trip Advisor to visit Venice for our 1st wedding anniversary. I called and made our reservations more than two months before our planned stay. Karl, The owner stated that they do not send confirmation emails as they have no computers there. I thought that was cool......

Sweet little hotel. Off the beaten path by the boat dealership. That's where you turn into because it's a shared driveway. Very happy we found this hotel. Read reviews and they were right on 2016! Close to my friends house in Nokomis and Great location in Venice area. Say hi to Karl the owner. Very hospitable and helpful.

We stopped in this motel while passing by and gave it a chance to prove that a small motel would be perfect. It proved to us many times over that this is a beautiful well maintained property and nice efficiency. We slept in a very comfortable king bed in a large room. The air conditioner was cool and quiet. The...

Do you ever walk into a place and just feel the good energy? That's how I felt here. Management is helpful, friendly, reasonable and has the guests best interests at heart. On top of all that, the place is quaint and charming and perfectly located on Venice Island, close to everything you need! LOVE IT!

We fell in love with the Kon Tiki Motel! My family and I stopped by for a day of shark teeth hunting at Caspersen Beach. We noticed the Kon Tiki sign as we were crossing the bridge and stopped in. Our original plan included staying at a chain motel that would have cost us $30 more and would have put...
