Loved our little room, pool was outside the door, staff was great, we were on the ocean, just a little walk across the dunes, weather was great, what more could you ask for, met some great people, lots of fun
The motel has been in existence since 1947, some of the furniture in our room has been there since they opened....steel dressers and steel desk and chair. The beds, innerspring, old and not the most comfortable. The motel, nicely located, ocean view from the pool,...More
Absolutely love the Sands of Treasure Island! We love vintage motels and the spot is sooooo great!
We had a very spacious room with beach view, and lot of windows balcony, 10 meters from the beach, and kitchenette for reasonable price! Nice staff. O.K. the...More
I really enjoyed my stay at The Sands. It is old school, for sure. Classic, friendly and absolutely all you need to enjoy the beautiful beach and sun of Treasure Island. Just steps to the beach, a pleasant walk to several relaxing restaurants, and a...More

Shell Island Preserve Park (about 20min away) has them and I believe the one time I've ever done that it was $45/day. TS is correct, it's a hefty/long walk from almost any hotel to the actual water.
Sunburst Inn in Indian Rocks Beach, right up the road, has umbrellas and lounge chairs you can use, on the beach, no extra charge for them. If they're booked solid you'll have to do an "early bird gets the worm" kind of thing but we've stayed there too.
