Great hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff and lovely pool - felt quite novel having a swimming pool with a runway view! Would certainly recommend if arriving after a long flight and would use again. Only improvement would be free wifi as this was the only hotel that didn’t offer this during our holiday which was a shame! The airport had free wifi though which helped with Uber etc.
This hotel is old- fashion, the bathroom is clean but also old, and there is no safe in the room. The staff at the reception is not friendly, no fancy restaurants, you only can have a dinner at the bar! I think there are better places to eat at the airport. The only plus is the short walkings distance to the terminal. Breakfast ( at the 7th floor) was very good and the lady who works there was very nice and friendly ! Hotel needs a upgrade!!!!
We have stayed at the Tampa Marriott Airport Hotel multiple times in the past and recently did again for an early morning flight to SFO. Check In was fast and easy with the Desk Clerk welcoming us back. The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. Went downstairs to the hotel restaurant for drinks and appetizers. Was waited on right away and our drinks and food came out promptly. Waiter checked on us and made sure we had everything that we needed. Food is expensive but I always expect this at any hotel restaurant and it’s definitely convenient to eat here. If you have a early flight out of TPA I recommend staying here.
We wanted to stay two nights in Tampa and we had an early morning departure, so we chose this Marriott and we were so glad we did. It's right on the airport property, so in the morning we just walked down the hall and we were inside the airport. So easy! It also has a nice comfortable restaurant and a coffee bar for the morning. The gym was also clean and spacious and available 24/7. The staff were really friendly and helpful and made our stay that much nicer. It was a nice surprise for an airport hotel.
We stayed here in June and again today. The check in should be simple since we always do Mobile and I’m and Ambassador Member, but it wasn’t . Instead we were greeted by a young lady with an attitude, the day is young let’s see what else develops. In June we stayed here ( rooms and beds are great and convenient) the bar/service absolutely sucks . We got nachos, they actually counted the chips ???? For the ridiculous amount of money they charge you, you’d think it might be a little different. The nachos were horrible, we left most of them there . We literally had to beg for a drink or for someone to actually acknowledge us. This is NOT a typical Marriott. We only stay here for the convenience, tonight we’re at the Hard Rock in the airport, we cannot in hood conscience give them another dime .…
This hotel is conveniently located in the Tampa Airport, which made our early morning departure so much easier!! Check in was easy, the desk agent very nice and she saw I was traveling with my mother so she offered wheelchair assistance from our room to the airport check-in area for our flight the following morning- which I thought was so nice! The hotel room (3rd floor) was spacious , VERY quiet, and overlooked the outdoor pool area. We sat out near the pool in the evening & watched the planes take- off! There is a hotel restaurant, and multiple places to eat in the airport itself. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!!
After what felt like a hundred years and multiple cancelled flights, this spot did the trick. It’s pretty great to be at the airport already and just roll yourself to the gate. The have dinner and breakfast room service. I did breakfast and it was quick. There’s also a small pool/patio area that was quiet when I was there. A bit dated, but the people were nice and the location can’t be beat.
We had an early flight to Aruba so stayed at this hotel the night before. Ate dinner at the Skyye Bar and was pleasantly surprised with how good the meal was. The bell service is great. Takes your luggage directly to airline check in. Makes it so much easier to have a comfortable nights sleep before the flight. Had a late arrival on our return so simply called the hotel front desk from baggage claim and a bellman came to get the luggage. Check in was fast and easy. Two exhausted travelers fell into bed and slept very well. Had a nice breakfast in Concierge lounge, had the bellman pick up and hold our bags while we headed to a/p parking for our car. The service was excellent, the beds comfortable...couldn't ask for more.
Had another great stay and breakfast recently after our transatlantic flight .So good to fall into a clean bed and enjoy a good breakfast to set us up for the first day of our holiday .We did however miss the concierge lounge .I wonder when it will reopen , Would always recommend this hotel .
Comfortable room, right at the airport. Flight arrive at 11:45 pm, retrieved our luggage, checked in and were in bed by 12:30am. Nicely appointed bathroom. Kurig coffee maker in the room but the plug wasn't operational. Only thing that was a problem.
