We stayed here during a trip down to visit family. The hotel has been undergoing a lot of renovations, but they weren't complete in the section we stayed in. Our room needed a lot of work (new paint, carpet cleaning - carpets were damp,) and...More
The Masters Inn Tampa Fairgrounds location has been closed permanently for a few months. I tried to find a reason online, but didn't see an explanation for the closure. I believe there is a Masters Inn in Seffner, not too far from this one, maybe...More

Beds were very comfy. Shower was great. The rooms were clean and quite nice, no smoke or pet scents at all. The front desk staff was fantastic. There are things to do nearby, but safer to drive to them. Nothing really close to walk to and not sure I'd consider it anyway. There is a Wendy's just in front of the property and that's about the only thing close enough to walk to safely. But, if you're just looking for a good night's sleep, definitely consider it.
