So this is not my first, second nor third visit to this property, but it will certainly be my last. I'm not going to comment on the staff, because while they were very nice individuals they lacked empathy or ability to get things done. Now for the property... I stayed here at during my first morning there I went to...

Marriott had a great reputation so when I checked in; I had positive feeling about them. They exceeded my expectations. Lakeesha from the front desk was very nice, honest and helpful. The other people that worked there were very friendly and hospitable as well. Plus they have a basketball hoop, swimming pool and sauna. These are the reasons why my...

The staff was so personable, nice and helpful; they made my stay. The room was very nice, MUCH better than I expected; and the week night social hour with free wine and appetizers was wonderful!!. I would definitely stay here again when in town down Tampa.

As parents of a U of T student, we were looking for a clean, comfy hotel that wasn't cheap, but wouldn't break the bank.....this is the spot. After several great experiences at this hotel, we recently visited for parents weekend. Upon entering the room, we saw a bottle of wine with a bag of snacks on the table. The handwritten...

We really like residence Inns because we love the big rooms and the kitchenette is perfect for our family. This one is on the old side. Apparently we got one of the better rooms. A fellow guest let me in her room and it looked horrid! (Ripped furniture, etc)Needs a lot of upgrades. (Old carpeting, scuffs on walls, years of...

I've stayed here often and was disappointed in the hotel maintenance. The couch in my room was covered with glitter, the chair fabric was worn and torn and the fridge sounded like a freight train. The hot tub was gross and even the breakfast which was always a high point, was disappointing.

Ok, I stay at the Residence Inn hotels a lot, and if anything they are usually very inviting. This stay has been less than average from the moment I checked in. First, when I arrived to the room I noticed a smell that's unappealing. It smelled almost of cigarette smoke and stale garbage. Second, the bed topper was incorrectly installed...

My husband deployed for a year overseas but attended a conference in Tampa so as a surprise to our kids I met him there. The hotel staff knew of our situation and made sure at check in to not mention the reservation being under my husbands name. They were SUPER friendly and even upgraded us from a 1 bedroom to...

The positives: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is good as it's downtown and close to the University of Tampa campus. Rooms have a kitchenette. The stay includes free breakfast. The queen bed was very comfortable. The negatives: Hotel is old and feels old. Parking lot is very tiny. There is a 2nd lot (which we always...
