Let me start by saying the outdoor area is beautiful so if you're looking for a quiet family/Mormon appropriate area you're in the right place. The campsites are TINY so be prepared to stay at the motel 8 of campgrounds - with that being said the bathrooms and grounds are clean and updated which is huge plus. The springs are...

Last year my boyfriend and I stayed a week here and it was great! We stayed in the primitive camping area and loved the wildlife, the nature trail close to our site and the bathrooms were great! It was very peaceful and the staff had wonderful hospitality, I can't wait to come back and stay!

If you want to show your guests the true Florida, is is a must see place. It can be a bit of a challenge to kayak, but it's worth it. Make sure you're not in a hurry do you can enjoy the scenery while you kayak or canoe. And if you need to be picked up after just skiing, make...

Some of my fondest childhood memories took place at Juniper Springs- the canoe run and the spring pool-I had a positive history here. Things have changed. Unfortunately, my children will not reflect on their time here and smile---rather, they may be haunted by the experience and never come back. 20 years ago, Juniper Springs was run by the National Parks...

Hello Rachel, We appreciate you taking the time to review us and provide your feedback and are sorry to hear that you feel this way. The truth of the matter is that the 3 man canoe is the exact same size as all the other canoes and is also the exact same price. In fact, if the staff had wished...

We enjoyed the trip that had been set up to celebrate my daughter-in-law's birthday. The reason that I did not give a five was due to the confusion caused by checking in and later by the park staff. My son made the reservations online and since the system did not let him reserve the three spots in his name, one...

I recently booked a site at Juniper Springs for kayaking and camping. They show amazing pictures of their kayak/canoe run. What they fail to tell you is that you are only allowed to go one way and the trip back to your car is 7 miles. They want to charge you an $85 fee to take you and your kayak...

Thank you for the feedback. The Juniper Springs canoe run is indeed one-way, a rule set by the US Forest Service but also dictated by safety in the very narrow run. I am not sure where the $85 is coming from. All our rates are clearly posted but for clarity I will provide them here: - All visitors pay the...

Ocala National Forest lies in the heart of FL. It's Flora is beautiful. The bird life keeps one singing. Juniper Springs kayaking / canoe trail is one of the nicest in FL. I used to love to camp at Juniper Springs. I enjoyed the walking trail along the Springs, Swimming in the Spring Pools and hiking or riding our bikes...

Thanks for your feedback. My company has managed Juniper Springs for nearly 30 years, so there has been no change in approach over the last several years. I share your frustration with the broken ramadas and boardwalk -- unfortunately, while we have the money to repair them, we do not have permission. For a variety of reasons related to historical...

We were a party of four. Two couples. We arrived on a Friday evening just at 8:30 pm. We knew we had to call ahead to let the staff know we would arrive after the gates were closed. They quickly arrived to open them. Check in is a breeze with price lists right out front. Once we set up camp...

We camped for 4 nights in the Sand pine loop and loved how private it was from the other sites. We were in site 40 and the only downside was that the light from the bathhouse was bright- no big deal. The campsite was beautiful but unfortunately the boardwalk was closed as well as some of the pavilions. The workers...

Tent camped. Fern Hammock loop not so private. Mostly families. I was by myself, so would have preferred more privacy, but seems great for families who don't mind neighbors. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Kayaked down the run, took me 3.5 hours. Around a bend a very large gator was sitting on the bank, which definitely got my heart racing....
