Small family owned place. Clean and quiet. Nice pool, close to everything in Sanibel. Reasonably priced. Kitchen was included in the room, its very handy. Mini fridge, microwave and stovetop. Child friendly.

We booked one of the cottages for our vacation. We were excited about the cottage having a kitchenette as that would allow us to save some money on meals, and we received a very good summer price special through their website. That being said, I had read these reviews previously and expected a warm welcome. However, I had the distinct...

Although it was not on the beach, but you do have access to there sister property which Is a "private" beach about 4 miles away but worth the drive. the anchor inn and cottage was a great value. The had bicycle rentals on property which was very nice. We had our 15 yr old daughter and friend w/us so they...

At Anchor Inn you stay in the heart of the Island, and are directed to their exclusive private beach about 6 miles away. The staff is the best on the Island. The value you get from Anchor Inn is almost too good to be true. We were able to stay longer because the rates were so affordable. Plus we were...

The cottage we stayed in was absolutely wonderful - spacious and conveniently located. We'll definitely be back! Once inside the cottage you feel like you're away from civilization, but you have all the comforts of home.

Being a FL resident, we sometimes forget to take advantage of the wonderful places around us. A stay-cation was in order and the destination was to be Sanibel. It was my very first time on this beautiful island and I hope it won't be my last. Cottage 21 at Anchor was a fine home away from home. Clean, cozy, and...

My hubby and I were looking for a quick get away and picked Sanibel Island. We've visited the area many times but were looking for somewhere new to stay with our little dog. This place was awesome. Extremely clean and excellent customer service. We stayed in room 14. It was great-2 rooms with full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Some of the...

Found this Inn quite by accident as a last minute decision. We went thru Booking.com, that cost us an extra $30 we meet the inn keepers Lorraine and Patrick who punted out that going to www.sanibel-motels.com would give us the best rate for their motel or any motel on the island. We stayed in room 15 really cute and comfortable...

Having a picky husband I was not so sure about this hotel. Little did I know it was the best spot in town. When you first see it you will notice the tropical colors that goes with the islands theme. The people who work there are friendly and best part you cab have pets. Couldn't hear other dogs barking. Very...

We enjoyed our cabin that stayed cool & relaxing. We got great suggestions from Lori the housekeeper on good beaches for shells. Full kitchen & BBQ, quiet relaxing pool. Located a few minutes from restaurants & light house, we would defiantly stay again!
