This place is excellent for pass a good day with friends. I try the bucket of Cruzan just for 10 dolars and is amazing. The only thing I don't like it is the food service is vet slow and you never know when is coming.

Last weekend I went with my husband to celebrate my birthday at the Flamingo Resort in St. Petersburg and we had a bad experience. On the first day my husband was at the pool area and went to the vending machine to get a soda - he mentioned the Pepsi was tasting different and when we checked the expiration date,...

My partner and I decided to support our community and bypass awful reviews and stay at the Flamingo. WE HAD A BLAST !!! Yes the room could use updating but unless our community supports the hotel,,,how do we expect the owners to do that ?? We met lovely people and had a great time at the bars. Bed was clean...

I don't think I would put my dead dog inside one of these rooms. Simply disgusting. 3 stars??? According to whom. 1 star at best. Do not stay here. It looked like my grandmas house looked like in the 80s, but a dirty version. Nasty brown furniture , nasty towels , nasty bar of soap called a 'complexion bar' ....

There is plenty of entertainment to enjoy and while the rooms may be a bit old fashioned, the bed was very comfortable. I slept through the noise of the outside patio music with no problem. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is easy to find and has ample parking.

Great employees but the building needs work. They are improving the building, I didn't experience that. I will try them out again because their employees were very hospitable. Their food was very good to and my room was clean.

Stayed a weekend in mid January. The first issue was the key card only worked once. Then after 3 trips to the office for new ones, and desk clerk unable to enter the room either, the manager was summoned. He had to break into the room with a long metal hook device! Said the batteries in the lock were probably...

Been a bit Since my last stay, pretty impressed with the upgrades, rooms look great I had one minor maintenance issue which was corrected quickly. One hard working handsome young man "SHAUN" went above and beyond to make my stay more comfortable. Always a good time, always return.

A great motel if you are looking to be surrounded by old, gay, gitchy-ness. After reading reviews, my husband and I decided to give it a try with the thinking it would add to the casual experience of saint petersburg as well as being able to support a gay owned and operated business. We knew we would be getting what...

“Punched by a pattren Sunday August 21, 2016 at the Flamingo Hoel”

1 of 5 stars Pending review

Yesterday, I came to the Flamingo Hotel for tea dance like I do most Sundays. I happened to be using the waterslide the hotel had set up. After getting out of the pool to go down the slid again, there was a guy with his "leather toy boy" in toe. Deck was wet and I lost my footing a bit and brushed against the "boy toy". Apologized and commented on his looks. Well his "master" didn't take lightly to it and cold cocked me in the chest.

I immediately went into the Code Bar and asked for security. When no one came I walked outside and saw the "young lady" security guard talking to the guy who hit me. At this point I became outraged and went to the front desk and asked them to call the police. While waiting for the police to come the General Manager, Randy, was called. While waiting for the police I was calling my bank because my debit card was stolen. Randy was trying to interrupt me while I was on the phone with the bank. At this point I was beyond upset. He kept telling me to sit down. I told him I was calling my bank and waiting for the police. He then told me to leave the property.

I was the one struck by his other pattern and I was told to leave. I walked out to the side walk and waited for the police. Four scout cars arrived. One officier took my information and the other ones went and talked with Randy the so called inept manager. I was given a trespassing paper stating I was not allowed back on the property. BE AWAIRE THAT IF YOU GET PUNCHED IN THE CHEST BY A SO CALLED "MASTER" IT'S OK.

I tried calling the hotel back several times to get the owner's name. The desk clerk was upright RUDE!! He wouldn't give me the information.

I asked if it was always allowed to have their guest's "gay bashed". His response was, "how can you be gay bashed at a gay hotel". I wonder how far this guy got through school to have that type of answer.

I already called Channel 10 news and told them what happened. They requested I email them what happened and they would contact me right away.

I have already contacted my attorney and plan to take full legal action against the flamingo resort and the person that hit me.
