We have stayed in this B&B on two occasions. The host is most gracious and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding. All fresh fruits and home cooked meals. The place is located within walking distance of down town where we experienced both fine restaurants, museums and shopping. Will definitely return.

Our daughter booked our room for us at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. It was a busy weekend in St. Petersburg, however, the location and charming, quiet front porch provided a wonderful spot to relax at the end of the day. We especially loved sitting around the breakfast table in the mornings. Ed provided a wonderful breakfast that was varied...

The room was delightful with no complaints and we felt secure in the environment. This is why I am giving a rating of two and not one. Our complaints stemmed from the management unable to meet my allergy requests. My wife and I received a free two-night stay at the Dickens House B&B as a Christmas gift from my folks....

Now the other – complete - side of this story. 1.) 1st morning Jonathan was served fresh fruit, scrabbled eggs, brown sugar and pecan ham, and a gluten free English muffin. He ate everything but only half of the muffin saying he didn’t like gluten free breads, nothing was said about it being “stale”. If it was stale I would...

We lingered around the dining room table, sipping second and third cups of morning coffee and tea, because the other guests were so interesting and engaging and fun! Dickens House attracts nice people. Add to that a delicious breakfast (beautifully presented), cookies warm from the oven mid afternoon, well-appointed rooms and gracious host -- you just can't beat it!

We booked the Dickens Suite on the second floor. We expected a roomy well equipped room but in every category it exceeded our expectations. The suite was very roomy with a queen size bed, lounging chair, desk with chair and flat screen TV with DVD player. It also had a dressing room. large closet with refrigerator, and a large bathroom...

This was our choice to stay fit the duration of our honeymoon and what influenced my decision was the near perfect reviews and the ravings regarding breakfast. The bar was set high before we arrived. All our expectations were grossly overachieved. No need to continue to rave, just go and experience yourself, you'll be glad you did

For those of you who read my reviews you know I like unique places, and I travel almost constantly with my wife. We stayed at the Dickens House B&B on a surprise birthday trip for her. First, the residence, being a history buff I love the fact that the owner knew about the house and its history. We were the...

In the center of St. Petersburg Samuel invites you to stay at the most adorable b&b's I have ever been staying at. Being home outside of home, and in the most authentic atmosphere and location. HYGGELIGT is a Danish word foe something absolutely special and as being with best friends or family in peace, harmony, happiness. Brunch with fresh fruit,...

I have stayed here twice and both times the experience was unsurpassed. This time I was in Perry Snell and it was as lovely as the other room (I cant remember the name right now!) Anyway, lots of charm and incredible proximity to downtown yet super quiet.

My husband and I spent 6 nights at this B&B. We have been to a few B&Bs before. This one was great. The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the downtown of St. Pete. Ed, the proprietor was friendly and very helpful for suggestions as to where to go and what to do. Unlike many B&Bs this one...
