I have never rated a hotel so poorly (check) and our stay here was part of many we stayed at as part of a round Florida trip. Some of the things I mention are a big deal, others are small however at $190 a night I'd expect and have experienced better so they're worth a mention. Ok so the good...

What a little gem!!!...found this place on TripAdvisor, & thought all these reviews can't be wrong....it was so lovely....from the side of the road it just looks like an average strip mall, but the river view rooms open on to a lovely deck, which is your private haven. Enjoyed sitting in the chair, with a cold beer watching the dolphins...

My wife and I attended the Alan Jackson concert at the amphitheater Saturday evening, deciding on Edgewater Inn for our brief stay. The friendly and attentive staff of this clean, attractive and conveniently located motel provided the perfect home for an unforgettable weekend. The views across the intracoastal waterway to downtown St. Augustine and the fort from our private porch...

My wife and I have stayed here for over 10 years always in March. The price of the rooms has increased over 300% during that time. The rooms are basically the same size and décor. They have new paint and they are clean but not worth a 300% or more increase. I have checked around and all the decent hotels...

Looking at the place from the outside I wasn't sure what to expect but it turned out to be a great spot. Right on the water to enjoy morning coffee and sunsets in the evening. The Inn has been remodeled due to storm in October. Great breakfast and Happy Hour. The staff was really helpful in answering questions and recommending...

room # 8, waterfront, 3 nights A first visit to the Edgewater; a very fine visit it was. The room is truly waterfront; as these waterfront rooms face west the sunsets are great & the evening view of Old Town is lovely. Our welcome was excellent: warm, friendly, chatty & informative about the area and restaurants. Parking is free &...

We had a great night at the Edgewater watching the sunset from our own little balcony! The bed was super comfy and the room was spotless. The shower was strong and the egg breakfast was delish. It's an easy walk over the bridge to the restaurants and bars, too. One of the best perks is free parking — hard to...

We couldnt find a place to stay in historic St Augustine due to a festival and found a room at the Edgewater Inn across the Lion Bridge right on the bay on St A. Beach. The nicest people run the place, a little motel, very clean, smallredone bath, decent size room, nice king bed, comfortable, plenty of outlets to charge...

The rooms were spotless. The view of the water was excellent and it is centrally located so you can shop, see historic sites and eat at some very good restaurants. We were impressed by the amenities and staff was very helpful.
