This place is fabulous. Very quiet and quaint. The owners are right there checking you in and attending to whatever you might need. Each bungalow has it's own private outdoor space. We stayed in the efficiency and it was perfect for us. In and out during the week, so didn't need much room or cooking availability; but certainly could have...

WE came into Ruskin to visit family. This was the closest place to stay to our family. I was surprised with this property. Love the privacy it offers and the staff was friendly. We will make this a regular place to stay while in Ruskin.

We stayed here for a week over Christmas break and absolutely loved this place. If you're a party animal, this is not for you. But if you like peace and quiet, gorgeous grounds and nice people, definitely check this place out. We had a charming fully equipped two bedroom cottage. The pool was lovely and we fished right from the...

We just got back from a Caribbean Cruise to Cozumel and Grand Caymen, 6 days!! However we had business in Ruskin, so we checked this place out. We enjoyed our 4 day stay here MUCH more than we did the cruise, and we worked during the day.... #1 Awesome place to stay. Great people, great accommodations, superrrrrr cottages, and supreme...

The people make this the place to go. Gay and her crew are amazing. The whole crew is very environmentally aware, which is so important for the future of Little Cayman. There are only 10 well kept rooms. Some do not have AC, but are equipped with fans and the marvelous ocean breeze. The beach is not a sandy beach,...

You reviewed the wrong Pirate's Pointe Resort. The one you wanted is in the Cayman's which is Pirates Point Resort without an e on Point.

our family does a reunion every year. This get together usually consists of +/- 20 adults plus 6 (and growing) kids. In past years we have stayed in Sebastian, Steinhatchee, St Augustine, Jensen Beach.... This vacation, over the Labor Day weekend, was by far, the most enjoyable experience we have had by far. The facility itself was not "fancy" but...

Only had a couple days off so headed here for a little r & r. Relaxing, pretty quiet. Stayed in the 2 bedroom with the private pool. Very clean and lots of space. Well pleased. Did not come to fish but was a great option based on distance and allowing to bring our 2 relaxed doggies.

Made a reservation through Expedia. Expedia takes a credit card at time of reservation to hold the reservation. Pirate's Pointe ended up charging me for a nights stay and then, after we cancelled well within the stated date on Expedia, Pirate's Pointe refused to refund the money. To be fair I think they have their property listed on several sites...

Thank you for your review. However, some of the information is not exactly correct. I never received a letter from Expedia saying, the charges were incorrect. Honestly just the opposite. They sent me a confirmation with the "Cancellation and the Amount to be Charged", per policy guidelines. I'm not sure what you received as I know I sent you nothing....

Didn't come to fish, just to catch up with an old friend and relax. Lived in Florida years ago and enjoyed the South Florida--Keys environment and have missed it on subsequent visits to Orlando area. The landscaping and crushed shell driveways of Pirate's Pointe added to the feeling of being in nature, away from the pavement and gridlock of modern...

We have been 2 times this year, this weekend will be our 3rd. It is relaxing, right on the water, wonderful clean facilities and awesome fishing!! Even if you don't have a boat its great to sit on the dock and fish from there. It definitely will be our home away from home!
