We love this park but our motor home will only cool effectively with 50 amps of power. I wish this park provided that. Beautiful park though. The ocean wildlife was amazing. It was easy to put the boat in and out. We were not able to bring our RV though bc of the amp size.

First of all, we absolutely adore this incredible park and consider it one of the crown jewels of the FL state park system. The scrub forest, bay and gulf, dunes, and beautiful seclusion make it one of our favorite places in all of Florida. This year, we were lucky enough to snag a cabin reservation for our kids' spring break,...

We love this place and keep going back . It has so much to offer nature lovers. There is a board walk around a wetland, a short walk to a nine mile uncrowned beach, a dune wilderness for hiking, plenty of paved biking, good shelling on the beach or bay, a marina that rents kayaks, etc. and a trading post nearby...

We booked 11 months in advance & stayed in site 70 in the pines section of the campground. Our site was surrounded by swamp/marsh on 2 sides (the left side facing in & the rear side) & was very narrow. It is not ideal for people with children or pets as there is very little room to sit out or...

The campground is very nice. There are two loops. We were at sites 90 and 91 on the back loop. Both loops are close to the beach but the back loop has a lot more privacy and larger lots. Be sure to read the comments on reserve America about each campsite. There are pictures as well of each site which...

WARNING: long review. Spent the week of Nov 4 - 11 camping in TH Stone State Park on the St Joseph Peninsula/Cape San Blas. It was not what I expected and more than I expected at the same time. I'll break it down by subject: Campground: We were in Shady Pines instead of Gulf Breeze and were so glad we...

The site was small but so was our unit. The bushes gave us privacy in spite of the full campground. I made our reservation online. I thought I was going to be closer to the restroom than I was in reality. At night it is difficult to get on the right sand path to get the restroom and back to...

We were supposed to camp in Shady Pines but when we arrived we were told the power was out on that side and they were working on the site. We could either wait for it (it was out all night) or choose a site in Gulf Breezes. The Gulf Brees site was direct access to the beach (literally a few...

We LOVE this place, I'm reviewing our 8th camping trip here. Site #69, July 8-10. This wasn't one of the shadier sites. It was hard to find a piece of shade for most of the day. The beach is usually too windy to use our umbrella, so we didn't even bring it this time but would have set it up...
