I wasn't sure how many stars to give because there's nothing really *wrong* with this hotel. It seemed clean and was priced reasonably. The staff was not particularly friendly but not unfriendly either. I was optimistic because it was newly renovated and the pictures looked nice. But this is clearly still an older hotel and the renovations only went halfway. The paint and the fixtures all seem brand new, as does the kitchen. But there was a lack of attention to detail. The popcorn-texture walls and ceilings, old light switch plates, outdated TV, beat up doors, the small bathroom that forces you to walk up against the toilet before you can close the door, the dark and dingy lobby - it all screams "80s or 90s hotel". If it was presented as an older hotel with clean and consistent service and some updates, then it would be totally fine for what it is. But it is advertised as a new and modern hotel and it just isn't. I feel like they could have spent just a bit more time and money on attention to detail during the renovation and made this a truly stellar hotel. It feels like a missed opportunity. The parts that actually were new, like the appliances and fixtures, seemed nice. The walls seemed thick because we didn't get a lot of outside noise. The windows allowed a ton of pleasant natural light when the curtains were open, and the tall trees in the courtyard were a good view. As long as you're not expecting a ton, you'll like this hotel. And that's not a bad thing.…
Travelling with friends before a cruise at Port Everglades Florida we found this fantastic hotel. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a living room and small kitchen. It was amazing. It was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic. As we were with friends we split the cost so it was very reasonable for such a great place. We can hardly wait to return to this lovely hotel. It was only 12 minutes to the cruise port. Also the staff were very helpful and friendly.
This is an old falling apart Staybridge hotel that was poorly repaired and is bow being billed as new Hotel. Only cosmetic repairs. poorly done, doors are warped, rust on all metal grids, poorly painted walls, you can see deliquesces in every corner. We booked this property ONLY because it was advertised as a new just opened hotel to find it lacking in all aspects.
We were very pleased with this hotel. It was kept very clean, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, friendly staff, dishwasher job and microwave in the room and good choice at breakfast. They offered a good variety of food for breakfast and kept the area clean and tidy. The hotel is in a good location and provides easy access to the tourist spots and road network yet it was very quiet. We were very impressed with the hotel and look forward to visiting again.
This is designed to accommodate both overnight as well as longer stays. There is a very nice kitchenette that is functional the breakfast buffet is better than average compared to similar hotels. Rooms were clean and quiet Location is very convenient. Easy access to restaurants and stores and to the expressway of business takes you to other areas of the city Staff is gracious and welcoming. I had a special issue and found them to be very accommodating. Overal A+
