My wife and I had dinner at Tarpon Lodge on March 31st. Both of our meals and salads were excellent. We've been there many times before and always have been delighted with the service and the food. The staff and the chef are teriffic! It's a hike over to Pine Island, but definitely worth the drive.

There aren't many fine dining establishments on Pine Island, but this one takes care of that. Make reservations. You'll want to start off with a nice cocktail outside prior to your reservation. There are a few tables and benches or you can walk the shoreline. The restaurant sits right on Pine Island Sound. Plenty of Pelicans, Terns and such. The...

We have stayed at the Tarpon Lodge frequently when we come to Florida from the North, either before or after a trip to neighboring Sanibel and Captiva. The Lodge is so quiet and lovely/ We love lounging by the pool and watching the sunsets, having a drink in the bar and eating on the Porch. This year we had some...

My husband and I were here for 2 nights recently. We positioned ourselves here as a convenient launching point to visit North captiva which is accessible by regular boat service at the marina next door. We had an upper room facing the water and sunset which is beautiful and great in the morning because the sun is not too bright....

After our flight was delayed by 5 hours, we decided to travel across the bridge to Pineland and Tarpon Restaurant. We could not have been more pleased with the food, ambiance, and service. It is off the beaten path (which is part of the allure) and we would highly recommend to anyone searching for a taste of real Florida.

My wife and friends and I go here by boat about once a month. We celebrate birthdays and other important events here. Great service, great staff, great owner, great consistent food. We did not stay in the hotel, just ate in the restaurant.

We have been going to Tarpon Lodge for the past 2 years since becoming winter residents. The food is outstanding, and the atmosphere superb! We enjoy sitting in the bar as the room is very cozy and warm on a cooler winter evening. We have always had great service and they are most accommodating to allow you to go outside...

We had lunch here on a very late weekday about 4 pm. The added benefit was to have no wait and reasonable lunch prices while enjoying the sun just coming down and views of the ocean. Perfect!!!! The fish tacos were great and the Mahi was good but a bit overdone. Walking the grounds afterwards was the BEST. You can...

We celebrated my husbands birthday here with good friends. Stay in the Stilt House ask for the room closest to the lodge, It has a large balcony. All the rooms on the West side have a nice small balcony. Sunset Views. Beds are really comfy. Basic bathrooms but nice and clean. The Restaurant is very good and great quality.

Built in 1926, the Tarpon Lodge has a genuine 'old Florida' feel to it. It looks like a great place to shoot a film noir. Our room was on the second floor facing the ocean, and had a small screened balcony. The room was simple, but comfortable and clean. Fishing and boating are the main activities here.
