From check in to check out it was one bad experience after the other. Had dead flies in my room. Nothing in the sundries store. Poor front desk customer service. No shuttle to close by eateries. I asked to be shuttled to a restaurant that was less than a mile away but they don’t accommodate their guests.
Staff is very accommodating. Restaurants are within walking distance. Shuttles run on demand. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good if you leave late enough to enjoy it. My husband doesn’t like the heavy quilts on the bed, but I am in heaven. We have stayed here several times before flights early in the morning.
Good location but almost everything else was disappointing. We needed fresh washcloths. Housekeeper said she’d bring us some but didn’t. Later I called desk & asked if I could pick some up and was told they were out of washcloths for the evening. The mattress gave both me & my husband a backache. The bathroom was configured in an odd way making it difficult to to use sink. The room was somewhat shabby with missing baseboards. We decided that we probably wouldn’t stay here again, except the price was good. Our greatest complaints have to do with those running the front desk. When we arrived, the clerk was on the phone for the entire check-in. However, she did apologize. The next morning, I wanted to ask about washcloths. Two young men were conversing and pretty much ignored me until I was forced to interrupt them. The morning we left, Roper (at the front desk) was horribly rude to us for no apparent reason. My husband tried to give her his key card. Instead of taking it, Roper tapped the container on the counter without explanation. She then snapped at my husband about it when he asked for a receipt. She said he had to put card in bin before she’d give him a receipt. She then moved down the counter and asked for our room number (even though he told her our # when requesting receipt). Apparently, we didn’t answer fast enough. After only seconds, Roper threw up her hands, raised her voice, said something about us not answering her. My husband told her she didn’t have to be so rude. Roper started going on loudly about how my husband was the rude one. She then sarcastically & loudly said she’d pray for us. She was yelling insults and loudly trying to bring her coworkers in on it. We walked away and she was still carrying on. All this because we didn’t answer her question fast enough? I can’t recall any other time in my life when I’ve been treated so rudely.…
Unexpected extended stay in Pensacola area. Pleased with the availability of room. Friendly staff at front desk as well as maintenance crew. Pool was delightful but a little warm(but it was hot out) Loved the area—will be back soon!!
Staff were very friendly, pool was much better than others in the area. Rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. But that breakfast... uhg. Inedible. I'm very surprised at the prices of hotels in this area, it's not near the beach or an attraction.
Where do I even start. I got to the hotel around 11 Friday night, there was a car parked at the door unloading. Another car pulled up the same time as me and we were all just trying to check in. With one foot out of my car, someone from inside came out yelling at me to not block her shuttle. Cool. Got ya. Yet there's a car unloading all their luggage where I would need to pull to go around. After finally parking and going in, I stood there for a good 3 mins so the ladies working could finish their conversation. Gave them my name expecting to hand them my card and ID and get my key. I had to fill out a paper with my name, address and WRITE my CC info that they now have. That makes me feel real comfortable 🙄. The young lady that was getting off when I was checking in, was beyond rude! Come to find out, it wasn't because she had a long day because she acted the EXACT same way the next day. I made a reservation for one room, for two people yet only had ONE large towel in my room. Went down Saturday morning to ask for more. They don't keep towels in the office so he text someone to drop some off to my room. Never happened. I finally got a couple more when I went down and asked again Sunday morning. Let's not forget the fact that EVERY towel had some kind of stain on it. Upon checkin out, I found out they don't even have a working computer system, even though the person telling me this was fiddling with a computer 🤔. I was told because of this, they couldn't give me a receipt nor could they even tell me the total I would be charged! I was told it would be the total that was on my confirmation email and that when their system comes back up on Tuesday (today is Sunday) that I will get an email receipt. I showed the woman at the desk (who claimed to be the manager) the total that was on my email and asked if that is what I will be changed. Let's hope at least one person from this hotel was truthful in their word and I won't be (even more) over changed for such a HORRIBLE time!…
The hotel was located right across from the airport, hotel was very clean and quiet. Hotel was well worth the price and would stay there again for sure. The staff was very friendly and attentive during my stay.
On line this appears to a Hilton/Hampton Inn quality hotel with commensurate pricing, but upon arrival, one can clearly see that it needs refurbishment to bring it to current standards. Property and management is TIRED. Go to Motel6 and save your money!
Needed help with a reservation None TV did not work in the room. Told me to go check the connections and inputs- couldn’t be bothered I am in PNS a lot I am a Diamond member I will cross this off the list
The quality of the one bedroom suite was extremely poor. (photos on request) 1. Only one small waste basket 2. Sink drained slowly 3. Only the bedspread for a blanket. Blanket in closet was soiled. 4. Broken tile on baseboard 5. Wall unit heater vent blew right on bed. Had to cover it with a blanket and suitcase on top. Couldn't turn off the fan. 6. Bare looking sitting rooms. Only one picture in the entire suit and it was over the toilet. 7. Not worth $200! 8. We encouraged another couple to join us. They too complained about the wall heater and price. Sorry we suggested it. 9. Only positive comment: Friendly staff 10. This Hampton Inn is NOT up to the Hampton Inn's chain's usual standard. And as a Diamond member we've been to many.
