Everyone at the front desk is friendly, helpful, & professional. Management takes time to listen, weekly breakfast is good but could do better. The weekend breakfast is actually cooked food like fancy hash browns cooked with bell peppers & onions, turkey sausage, I think, and a soft biscuit. The rooms are designed almost perfect except no hand held shower head to rinse crevices and no ledge in the shower to lift leg to scrub crevices. I LOVE the new soap, shampoo, hair conditioner installation, genius. The size of the shower is ample for rounder guest. Even the size of the refrigerator is perfect It's appx. $200 per night but comfort can be pricey. If you visit the first settlement in the USA & home of the Blue Angels this is the ONLY hotel to invest your staycation. The rooms were designed by a woman & she checked each box except the hand held shower head in EVERY room not just handicap rooms. Oh, I forgot, the shower door needs industrial Velcro to keep the door closed. Thank-you…
Comfortable, clean and cordial staff. Jack was helpful in correcting our original reservation to a excellent room making our visit a positive one. The SpringHill pool was clean and oh so warm ! Breakfast could be enhanced a bit.
This is our favorite hotel on Pensacola Beach! After staying in condos and various hotels we always come back to the Springhill Suites. We have been coming to this area for years and have never been disappointed with our stay at Springhill. The atmosphere is family orientated. Our vacation is usually over the traditional “Spring Break”, but not once have we had any issues with excessive partying or unruly guests. The entire staff has always been extremely helpful and considerate, going out of their way to greet you and ask if there is anything that you need. Located on the east end of town, the beach is beautiful and quiet, yet within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. The hotel has just been remodeled after the most recent hurricane and looks better than ever. Everything is very fresh and clean from the rooms to the pool and the breakfast area. It is a great operation with a wonderful staff. We are always sad to leave and can’t wait to return the following year.…
This property or at least the room I was provided was absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy from black oil like stains all over the carpet and the couch, hair in the refrigerator, old food particles all over the floor and stained duvet covers. It was evident that this room had not been cleaned in a very long time. It really needs to be refurbished. Had it not been 1am after driving all day long, I would have stayed anywhere else. The room should not have been provided to any guest ever. I left multiple messages with the property manager and to date I still have not received a response. I’m generally very happy with Marriott properties but I would never stay at this property again nor will I recommend it to any of my clients.
The breakfast bar was awesome! Great selection (eggs, ham, potatoes, grits, waffles) and the food was good. Also great location. Only about 15 minute drive to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping.
Stayed here while passing through Pensacola. Great location to I-10 and relatively clean. Pillows were hard and lumpy, someone had dumped coffee on the tissue box and it wasn’t changed out, walls were super thin (heard full conversation next door at 3:30am.). Would choose another place next time.
Everything was great. No complaints at all or constructive criticism. The front desk was kind, friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate! So clean and fresh and modern. The area is quiet and safe. I’ve tried other hotels in the area and this hotel is on a whole other level of quality, customer service and cleanliness! My thanks to the management and housekeeping for such a high standard that is within my price range.
My family came into town to visit our son who is stationed nearby. The part of town the hotel is in is borderline sketchy. The hotel is nice, it’s clean, Jack at the front desk was great. The room was clean and modern. We had two of our children with us, for a total of four people in the room, the foldout sofa is not adequate for two people and the mattress is hopelessly thin. We asked the front desk if there were cots to supplement this, there was not. Due to covid, we were asked to put towels and garbage in the hallway, rooms are not being cleaned or restocked, and the free breakfast that is being included is a warm bottle of water, a granola bar, and a small muffin. It’s possible this is a nice place to stay at sans Covid.
Really nice front desk staff upon check in. Room was clean, updated. HUGE walk in closet which I used a a dressing room. Nice updated bathroom. Fitness room was nice—reservations required to use it due to covid.
Generally subscribed to all Covid precautions, rooms were well designed, comfortable, ample and spotless. Bagged breakfast with water, muffin and granola bar. Good selection of coffees and teas. The gym was opened by appointment only, but somehow no more time slots were open at 7pm, though I have not seen anybody in the gym. Compared to other Marriotts in West Monroe, Luisiana and in Wichita Falls, TX this was the most observant place for Covid and thus very safe to overnight.
