Well designed and maintained building; pet-friendly (though no giraffes, according to in-room literature); clean, comfortable, and quiet guest room with a quiet and effective air conditioning/heating system; friendly and knowledgeable staff; delicious breakfast choices; clean and well designed pool area; well appointed kitchenette (with option of a portable cooktop); festive outdoor grill area... I'm not sure which I like better, Hilton's Curio Collection or the Home2Suites brand. The only, and I do mean only, disappointment is the migraine-inducing air "freshener" located in each elevator lobby. There are two brightly painted stairwells though, so I got my steps in.
The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly. The room had great a/c and the beds are very comfortable. Very convenient to restaurants and the provided breakfast was adequate. My only complaint is the walls are very thin and you will hear your neighbor.
Reservation was for Fri, August 12th- Sun, August 14th. We drove from Jacksonville, FL and called the hotel late morning, asking if our room was ready, as we were hoping to check in. I was told by the female clerk our room was ready and we arrived around 1pm. Male clerk told us room was not ready and would be a few hours - not a big deal as we had alternate plans if room wasn't ready. We got lunch, went back closer to check in time and got checked in. Room was clean, smelled nice and was a/c worked great! I reserved the King suite, and it was perfect for myself, my fiancé and my 16-year-old daughter. Two TV's, large fridge, micro, sink and plenty of room. We used the pool once, pool temp was perfect however there was some trash on the ground and debris in the pool, including used band aids. Free breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about but the ladies on our second day there were super sweet and asked if everything was ok. Small omelets, breakfast sandwiches, make your own waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit, yogurt were on the menu. I don't think they change it up much day to day. Both nights we stayed the room next door was LOUD - music, tv, yelling. Didn't call front desk 1st night but did the 2nd night. We try to be understanding however this was ridiculous. When I called the 2nd night, the front desk clerk was super nice, apologetic and said he would address the noise. It FINALLY calmed down around 4:45/5am. Location was approx 20 minutes from Pensacola Beach - all highway so traffic wasn't an issue. Overall, we would stay again.…
DO NOT STAY HERE. Walls are very thin. The room next door kept us up two nights in a row. I really wanted to give this a five star rating. It’s new, clean and nice staff. But when the walls are so thin you can hear the TV next door, well, the purpose of a hotel is to get a good nights rest and we didn’t…..two nights in a row. And we even had white noise makers going.
This hotel was clean the staff were awesome the breakfast was hot my experience was great thanks the staff Jadarian, Raylea, and the housekeepers were awesome I would definitely be recommending and coming back to this hotel
I can say we had a good stayed with my family..everyone enjoyed the good breakfast they had 3 different kinds of breakfast they're are all good..the staffs are very accomodating..very nice that's why we are all satisfied
Megan at the front desk provided the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life! My family came to visit and she was amazing to everyone! After a rough day, she went above and beyond to help me with a issue. I have always enjoyed my visits to this location. Clean, friendly staff, and good location. Megan’s willingness to help me just made me a life-long customer!
While the exterior is nice and shiny, as well as the lobby, I will not be using this hotel again. This is the third time I have used this facility because I travel a lot and like the spaciousness of the rooms, but evidentially they have a had time getting the employees that clean the rooms to understand what clean means. I could list a few items that were less than satisfactory, but the most disgusting was a huge amount of mold between the shower doors.
Excellent service and accommodations when we stayed. The only thing that I don’t like to much was the security around the parking lot. Because when we arrived late in night we see some young’s team suspicious movements. In some instances we don’t feel that our car was secure. The hotel maybe can’t control that but can have some cameras around the parking lot. I think they need more security around the parking lot. But the stay and hotel also the employees service was excellent.
Was on a relocation trip from AZ to FL. Decided to stop to sleep after we drove 24 hours. There were several hotels near us. I had never stayed at this Hilton brand even though I'man Honors member. Glad I selected it. The hotel was very well maintained. The room was spacious and immaculate. Definitely lived up to the Hilton brand. The beds were super comfortable. We arrived at 2:00 a.m. and planned to get up and leave at 7 a.m. We ended up sleeping until 10 a.m. The hotel offers breakfast but we missed it. But if you miss it there is Waffle House and Cracker Barrel near by. The night person on 12/28 was incredible! Forgot to get the name.
