My husband, Nick L., and I came here for Thanksgiving weekend. It was a beautiful, clean, accommodating hotel. All staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely window view of the trees and pool too. The beds were super comfortable. Pari Leger
I drove the University of Southwestern Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Band down for the Sun Belt Basketball Playoffs and the hotel couldn’t have been more accommodating. From the custom welcome banner out front to the good hot breakfasts, comfortable beds and friendly staff, General Manager Johanna and her own team couldn’t have been more accommodating. What a pleasure it was to stay at your hotel.
We spent 14 days in 9 different hotels. Of our one night stops, this hotel was by far the best. The hotel is clean and smells good. Sara at the front desk is a treasure. We were greeted with a smile and the friendliest check in. She also gave us excellent advice regarding a place to have dinner. During our road trip, we stayed at Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express as well as others and this was by far the best stay for weary travelers.
Just stayed one night here, had Bonvoy points booked a king room. Arrived surrounding area looks sketchy. Check in, walk into the room immediately smell a hint of cigarette smoke and mens cologne it’s 6:30pm. Called front desk let her told her it wasn’t that bad I’ll stay in this room. Then about 20 minutes later there are girls laughing and talking running up and down the hallway. Tried calling the front desk she didn’t answer packed up my stuff went back down asked for another room. It’s Labor Day weekend she said “oh you booked with points” we don’t have another king room I said it doesn’t have to be a king. She was acting stressed out I said do you want me to go sit down and she yes I won’t lie this is going to take some time. I saw her go talk to the manager about five minutes later she said we upgraded you to a “suite”. Nice room just like the other one but has a living room and larger bathroom. I’ve stayed at 3 “Fairfield Inns” by Marriott they are hit or miss not a true Marriott but the beds and pillows are always comfy. This shower had good water pressure. Normal Buffett, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, breads, yogurt, bananas. Probably wouldn’t stay here again I travel solo and the area didn’t look that safe.…
Breakfast was awesome and Ms Pat is just the bees knees, However during my stay I overheard Im guess the office manager talk to some of the girls very rude and nasty. She seems to be a work place bully. And I don't feel like that is a Marriott standard.. In my opinion she isn't what Marriott wants to have running one of their building. Otherwise it was a good trip..
I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Pensacola. The front desk staff were always personable, offering greetings as soon as we walked in and wishing us well on our way out. The room was clean and spacious, and the TV had great selections. The workout room exceeded expectations! Finally, the breakfast bar was so well-supplied and clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend staying here if you want to have a nice place to come home to after exploring Pensacola!
Location – close to I-10 Sales Manager not receptive to customer feedback ! Hotel : older 4 story hotel – showing signs of age Better on going maintenance required – dirty floors, etc Laundry room quite dirty and poorly organized – washer & dryer doors opened in the wrong direction Computer center located in hallway – no chairs or work area Room : Worse utlization of space I have ever seen ! Very little storage space, only 1 unit to sit luggage on - my luggage had to go on the floor Only 2 drawers for clothing & a very small night table that's low to the floor Work desk centered under TV ! Unable to watch TV while someone works at desk Overall poor lighting in room – does not support reading a book Only 1 chair provided for seating – others will have to sit on bed Bathroom : It had no storage areas for toiletry items – only vanity top Only 1 small towel bar good for 1 face towel and face cloth Electrical outlet not in place for good utlization of hair dryer Internet : Very good – 46 mbps down, 96 mbps up at 10 am Breakfast : Standard fare – eggs, sausage, bagels, yorgurt, etc – same every day Packaged cereal but no raisin bran Toaster – only toasting 1 side of bagel/toast, apparently you have to place the bagel in the toaster a specific way otherwise it will not toast properly ! Summary : skunk smell in hallway for 2 days, staff says it could be from people smoking weed ! this place needs a lot of work - will not stay there again !…
Staff was super friendly and helpful, breakfast was yummy, location was perfect for our drive to Pensacon!! The breakfast was at a reasonable time and very well stocked, and there was snacks available for purchase at the front that came in handy as well.
When we first arrived at the hotel we were instantly greeted. The lobby is so clean and smells wonderful. Our room was very clean, with comfy beds. The staff made our stay even better. So helpful with any request and always had a smile to greet us. I will definitely stay here again anytime. We absolutely enjoyed a great girls trip due to the very friendly staff and clean hotel!
Staff extremely friendly and efficient. Facility very clean and bright. Room was great and beds comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was well set up plenty of space to stretch out and eat. Location convenient to the interstate.
