Most of the people were friendly. Housekeeping did not come unless requested. It had a small game area with pool table pinball etc. Breakfast was okay but eggs were not really scrambled looked like boiled eggs chopped up. Pool needed cleaning badly scum on the bottom.

I stayed here because it was close to the airport and I had an early flight home the next morning. My first impression when I arrived was that it's in a very secluded area. There's a gas station across the street. The check in process was simple. I must add that there is a 100 dollar deposit..they accept cash or card. You get it back after they inspect your room when you check out. The room was nice. Nothing super fancy but it was clean. It appeared that it was newly remodeled. My only complaint was that the Ac unit would only blow softly which made the room stuffy. But If you're looking for a decently priced hotel to lay your head I think this hotel Is a good choice.

The A/C didn’t work. There was mold in the room under the a/c. The floor was full of water. The air conditioner didn’t work in our room and it was horrible hot in Florida the front desk sent maintenance and he stood there in front of the a/c and said well I told them they needed drip pans in the rooms. We ask to be moved to another room and was told no nothing is available they refused to call a sister hotel. Called choice 800 number and was told they couldn’t help until we checked out of the room. So after spending the night in a mold infected no air conditioner room we go to check out and was told the manger is never at the property and they gave us 10% off the room. Ask them if they would leave their family in that situation and was told no, so basically that tells me the hotel itself and choice hotels don’t give a crap. Very nasty I have more photos but can’t add more that 10

This hotel has a lot of great potential. There were issues that could be worked on. For example, the “game room” that’s advertised had a few things with an “out of order sign.” There were multiple ice machines with an “out of order” sign. We actually only found one that worked. Vending machines with an “out of order” sign. During the continental breakfast, the employees had to announce that they were out of syrup…..with a long line at the waffle maker.

First off I’m pretty patient person but this place was ridiculous! We stopped at almost 2pm to book a room. Well we reserved a suite but was told we couldn’t actually check in till after 3pm. No problem, we went across the street to DQ for meal & down to Bayview Trails for hike through the woods to the the shoreline. Got back right at 3. Go in and we are told our suite wasn’t ready it be 20 mins. We could bring our luggage in on cart wait. So we did. 20 more mins. & we are told they short staffed it be 20 more mins. That passes & once again we are told 20 more mins. cause suite takes longer to clean cause it’s bigger. After another 20 mins. the supervisor physically walks down to see the problem comes back says still not cleaned cause the “new” girl is slow & room big. So for 3pm check in we didn’t get to actually go into our room till almost 5pm! We had been on the road for over 8hrs just wanted to shower & clean up. Staff didn’t even bother to offer discount or nothing for this. I worked housekeeping for Hampton Inn previously I know how the job is. But this was ridiculous. They room was clean & decent sized suite but outdated/overused looking. The living room chair was so worn the back caved in when you leaned back. The couch pull out so thin you felt springs & the two full beds in the bedroom so hard I swear it was like being on plywood. Only positive things I can say about the place was the shower was hot with great pressure, larger room fridge than most & the breakfast bar was so good!. Additionally, the game room was not on the “house” you had to pay to play the pinball machine and pac man. Foosball was out of order & pool table was pay but there was no sticks anywhere to be found. They also had a no play 10-7 for quite time as it was in middle lobby. Additionally, the people above us slide furniture around all night long making sooooooo much noise. This was by far the worst hotel experience ever especially for the $249 price tag a night. We stayed at a $99 night before in Alabama that I gave 4.5! Do not recommend this place nor would I stay here again not even for free!

Breakfast was the redeeming feature of our stay as the condition of the room was very poor. High room rate compared with other Choice properties in its condition. Very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend staying here for any reason.

The smell of the room was the first thing I noticed. Smelled like 5 kinds of cleaning solutions that didn't mix. Made a reservation for a queen bed and ended up with 2 double beds. One bed was fine, but the other felt like laying on springs. The paint on the bathroom ceiling was falling off. The towel holder next to the sink was hanging off. There was no hot water in the sink, but ok in the shower. The outside grounds really need picked up. The breakfast was mediocre. There was a decent selection but NOT good. The juice dispenser machine wasn't even cold. Lukewarm juice, nasty. I did like that on the 1st floor, you have a sliding door which let us park right outside the door. For the price of this room on a non-summer Friday night, I expected more. This place shouldn't be able to charge more than $75 a night. I had to pay double that. I wouldn't stay here again.

I went there for a long weekend. This place was so run-down it was sad. I understood Covid made it difficult but wow. The rugs desperately needed cleaning, my rooms bathroom, the handle of the sink literally dropped off in my hand when i went to use it. Another customer had brough to the front desk the shelf from inside the shower. The back door lock did not work and anyone was able to open it - not to mention that the foyer smelled like wet dog. I literally cried having to stay here. Its saving grace was the staff - they were very hard working, despite that thier A/C wasn't working and the poor things were just dying. They lure you in with a great rate BUT do NOT stay for a weekend. They completely gouged me and I paid a fee that I could've paid for a heck of better place. Although there is one nice view there, NONE of the windows in the hotel face it. What a loss!! Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, you will regret it if you don't. The facility is in desperate need of a complete renovation. We were greeted by a roach running across the TV/Fridge Cabinet. The small refrigerator intermittently made a sound as if we’re on its last leg off and on. The hairdryer would not stay plugged into the wall because the plug in was loose. You had to hold down the handle for a complete toilet flush. Old light switches that needed a scrubbing and the smell that met us when we opened the door was a mixture of stale/stagnant odor mixes with something that smelled like a cheap air freshener. The sliding glass door had to be left open an hour each day we stayed to air the room out. No elevators at this facility. Poor paint job in the room. The staff at breakfast was very nice and the breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable however I would not stay here again. Definitely expected more for the price we payed.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place was beyond disappointing and not clean whatsoever. My family and I were traveling to our spring break destination and needed a place to crash for the evening. There were 3 very nice, but very new employees working the front desk who didn’t know how to check people in or manage the front desk and it showed. You should know the facility is old, run down, and in desperate need to be knocked down. It has 2 stories and no elevator. Many of the ground floor rooms have a small concrete pad outside their sticky sliding door in the room that leads to the parking lot. The ceiling paint was literally falling off. There were crumbs on our countertop. We found a bloody towel and change underneath the bed. The room reeked of pine-sol. When I showed the front desk clerk a photo of it, she knew they were up a creek. She tried to find other rooms to move us, but there wasn’t much available due to the spring break traffic. She moved us to a suite that also included a kitchenette, and told us that maintenance inspected it for cleanliness. Inside room #2 we found a used syringe on the floor and trash on the countertop. The bathtub water lines were switched. You could barely turn on the water if you wanted it hot, so the pressure was non-existent. The bathtub stopper was broken. I had to use a cup to cover the drain in order to give my child a bath. I approached the front desk again to show the picture of the syringe. The employee got the manager on duty and she had no other rooms available where we could move, but said that we shouldn’t be too worried because the person who last stayed in our room was a diabetic and she was sure the evidence was his and simply fallen out of his suitcase. What!? And because I booked the room through hotels.com, this hotel “couldn’t do anything about it.” I call BS. The night manager said once I call she will make a note to for hotels.com to give us a discount. The morning manager said we were not entitled to any compensation because we chose to stay at the hotel, despite not having a clean room. We paid $178/night for that disgusting room. Talk about a waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and go down the street to a nicer hotel.
