It was 6 days of living in a wonderful little village 15 minutes south of Ronda. Phil and Nicki provided a very comfortable home for travelers to enjoy the town of Alpandeire. The home itself was clean with great beds, small but fine bathroom, excellent wifi, breakfast. Phil, Nicki and Jane had great advice about the village and nearby walks.... More

This is a beautiful rural home in a tiny pristine village called Alpendiere, about 15km from Ronda town. The house is very cozy and the host, Jane very welcoming. We did a beautiful relaxing walk around the village with some helpful directions from Jane. The whole setting is very peaceful within a secluded village and the mountains all around. The... More

We booked our stay with Phil and Nicky the day before flying to Spain and what a find it is. They are both welcoming, informative and helpful people and make you feel very welcome. The house is a lovely old building in the picture-perfect pueblo blanco of Alpendeire. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the en-suite shower room we... More

We just loved this place. Its like staying in a friends house, beatifully decorated in country style. hey renovated a run down house and kept the original features, but made it modern and cosy. Nicky and Phil were great hosts. Spending time with us to make us feel comfortable, but not too much, so you dont feel imposed on. The... More

After an easy bus trip from Malaga, I was picked up at Ronda and transported to another world. Casa Llanete is a beautiful restored town house in a peaceful village in the hills. Wonderful views and walks (up hill and down dales). Had a fantastic class of one to one art tuition on the first morning with hostess and aritist... More

I recently returned from a wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic week’s painting course at Casa Del Llanete in the remote, picturesque Andalusian village of Alpandiere. The guest house and rooms are beautifully restored and decorated. I was offered a twin bed room with views over the mountains; guests are made very welcome with tea and coffee-making facilities, a sun terrace and... More

Nicky and Phil’s professional backgrounds are in teaching and therapeutic work, so naturally the courses they run are up front on their website, but if you are the sort of person who shudders at the thought of being improved in any way on holiday, or believe that you haven’t an artistic bone in your body, DON’T BE PUT OFF. They... More

We have just returned from a two week driving holiday through spain and were fortunate enough to stay with Phil and Nicky in Alpandiere. The house was beautiful and the village very friendly, even though we spoke little Spanish. We drove from Scotland down to southern Spain and to be honest the first place we wanted to stop was the... We stayed for 2 nights with our 20 month old baby. The B&B is in a peaceful, unspoiled, and beautiful small village about 20-25 minutes drive from Ronda. Owners are English speakers, very friendly and good source of information for local places of interest. Cot was provided for our baby, rooms was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Set in one those delightful white-washed villages deep in the heart of the mountains of the Sierra de Ronda, Casa del llanete is the sort of place that you may have been hoping to find.
