We went just for two nights to meet up with some friends who were in town. We usually like to stay in the 1500 loop but this time was our first in the 2000 loop. It is about the same distance to the settlement and...More
I thought the prices were reasonable, Actually, down right good. It's Disney folks! ;-) Having said that, our site was great. Easy to back in, easy to pull out. We rented a Preferred site. About 3/4 black top, 1/4 sand in the rear. The blacktop...More
We have camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground for years now. It has always been and still is one of our favorite places to camp in Florida. While we stay at a lot of nice campgrounds and state parks, this is by far the nicest...More
We always camp at Fort Wilderness when we go to Disney. It is well worth the price. Check in so fast and easy, we never have to leave our vehicle. We reserve a premium site that has a concrete pad, grill and picnic table with...More
We are all huge Disney fans, first visit to WDW was October, 1971! This recent one was a two- night trip , grandparents, parents, 3 girls age 8/9/10, 2 dogs in an RV. We pre-checked in, and had magic bands, so should have been able...More

We took our large dog- chocolate lab to the Best Friends Pet Care for doggie day care. The price was very reasonable and ensured that our dog didn't drive camping neighbors crazy. It gave us the option to spend all day at the park without worrying about food, water, potty breaks or nuisance barking. Then picked her up in the evening to spend with us. The facility is about 5 mins from the gate to the campground. They opened an hour before the parks and stayed open an hour post park closure. We took toys and food. She squealed with excitement on her second day when we pulled up to the facility. She had a blast and was definitely played out each evening. I would highly recommend them. On our last day- we had her groomed before pickup. They did a fabulous job.

We've been camping for in the 1500 loop (pop-ups and tents) in our 16 foot trailer, no problem. There are only two loops in this price range, however and they fill up fast. Also, they are the only two loops without sewer hook-ups, so depending on how long you are staying and how big your tanks are, you may have to honey pot it to a vacant sewer site. Unbelieveably they DO NOT have a dunp station. We are always instructed to pull into a vacant site that has a sewer to dump the tanks.
