I have been coming to Disney for close to 50 years….yes 50 years and this hotel has the WORST transportation services ever. I waited close to 40 minutes for every bus to whatever park going to or coming back from. I would NEVER stay here again also pools are not close to any of the DVC rooms
My husband, son and I are frequent DisneyWorld visitors (about 2-3 times per year). We love trying out new Disney resorts. For this trip, we decided to stay at Saratoga Springs, a resort we’ve stayed at many times before. With its updated look, It definitely feels like a new resort, and we really enjoyed exploring it all over again. Our check-in was a breeze. I checked in on the My Disney app and they texted me when my room was ready. When we arrived a few hours later, we went straight to our room and were able to open it up with our phone. We went to the front desk because our magic bands weren’t working when we tried to open the door, and they fixed it right away—the customer service here was top notch! We had a Deluxe studio and it was a great size for our family of three. The small kitchenette with a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave was all we needed to do quick breakfasts in the room. We had two queens—the main bed and a Murphy bed that came out over the couch—we really liked this feature. The one thing we wished the room had was a small dining table, even if it had one or two chairs, because we found it hard for us to sit and eat; we had to sit on the beds and eat which wasn’t ideal. We love the vinyl floors, not only is it beautiful, but also so much cleaner than carpet. We didn’t use the buses, because we didn’t want to have to wait. Since we drove, it was easy for us to drive to the parks ourselves, which we highly recommend. If you park a car at the resort, Disney charges 25 dollars per night. This will carry over to the parks, if you decide to drive yourself there. My recommendation is to purchase preferred parking (normally 50 a day, but you’ll get it for 25 since you’re staying on property). This gives you the ability to park right in the front—you can also use it at all parks for that day. We really love this resort and can’t wait to come back!…
So to start we are long time Disney Vacation Club owners at both Old Key West and Grand Californian. We love both resorts, and are die-hard Old Key West fans for many reasons. When we booked Saratoga for this latest trip we were a bit nervous. It always seemed so sprawlingly large and like it didn't have a theme or anything to offer. Wow we were wrong! As it turns out we have absolutely loved it! Of course it helps that the rooms are just recently renovated, and they did a great job of making it pretty, classy and comfy. We have not heard a single thing from any neighbor and our villa feels so peaceful and quiet and private. We ended up in the Grandstand Section which is great for a few reasons - first bus stop so you get a seat, and first bus stop to be dropped off when you are exhausted at night. Easy walk to the main pool and dining areas. Really nice quiet pool area. Easy parking. The resort itself is charming and peaceful as well. It reminds us more of Savannah than upstate NY. It has beautiful golf course views and so much space with cute water features, etc. Nothing about it feels crazy or crowded which we love. It's a great escape. We also love the quiet music they play throughout the resort. All in all we have fallen in love with it and would recommend it to anyone who likes a quiet resort experience with plenty of space to stretch out The staff have also been lovely.…
I know Saratoga Springs in a little older than the other resorts but we really enjoy staying there. There are so many "other" thing that can be done without going to the parks. This is our 3 time staying on Disney properties and I will do it again!

We spent 2 weeks and had such a great time. Shuttles to the parks were on time and drivers were awesome. We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe villa with our family of 8. There were plenty of amenities and things to do. This property is huge and is difficult to get around if you can't walk. The staff was amazing and very short staffed. Front desk very hard to get ahold if but bell staff was amazing. The appliances in our room need to be upgraded the oven would not go above 300. Thewasher was very loud sounded like bearings going out. In master bathroom door seal on shower needs replaced. Other than those s.all things this resort is amazing. Food was fabulous
We had the best time here. Perfect size and amenities were wonderful! Loved the boat to Disney springs. Buses to the parks were never an issue. Great pool and activities for the kids. We will definitely be back.
We checked in on May 22 and requested to be close to my sister and her husband, which we were. On May 23 we noticed a smell of mold/must in our room. We called and they came to investigate, after they found that this was from a discharge pipe in the washing machine. This issue was fixed but with my mom having Asthma, we thought it was best to move, it was inconvenient and a pain. I would like to note as well the front service of the dishwasher was never cleaned and had smudge marks as well as the mirror over the dining table from previous guests. Housekeeper must of missed this. So after moving we were no longer close to pool or bus stop or my sister, total inconvenience and unhappy at entire situation. Yes they fixed the issue but there should have never been an issue in the first place. This should have been caught by whoever checks the rooms. It is unacceptable. We are DVC members and have been since 1998, 23 years and it seems that every year we come to disney there are more and more issues with the rooms. Don't get me wrong, we had an amazing time but this kind of stuff drives me crazy, especially when we are asked to pay the high prices and we are stuck with low quality rooms that i could have easily stayed at the Marriott with no issues and no need for a membership.…
Stayed here for our Disney vacation and it was absolutely beautiful!! The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lush, tropical foliage throughout. I understand that there are two or three 24-hour pools but we only experienced the two family pools with slides. This resort has a quick serve restaurant onsite as well as a gift shop with small necessities to Disney shirts, purses, etc. Thanks Saratoga Springs for a beautiful, relaxing place to come back to at the end of each day.
Am awesome place to stay. The experience is great and the staff is wonderful. The location is also great, close to Disney Springs and Port Orleans locations. You can ride a boat to all and you can even walk to Disney Springs.
