The Boardwalk Villas are one of my favorite places to stay at WDW. The main reason for this is because of the location to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Both of which you can walk to. The downside of this resort is the lighting in the rooms. I love bright lights and lots of natural sunlight. I have stayed in several rooms that the natural lighting was fine but the artificial lighting was dim. As a matter of fact I have actually purchased higher wattage bulbs in order to make the room bright in the evening-makes it a lot easier to read. I will be returning to the BoardWalk Villas.

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas is “beachy-keen” place to call home when you come to visit us! Having the ability to walk over to not one, but two of our Theme Parks is a huge win for this location. No matter what time of day or where you’re headed, the pathways along Crescent Lake offer a truly relaxing stroll that usually ends in a ton of fun! Despite the lights being a bit too dim for your needs, it seems you found the perfect trick to make this your perfect destination. Thanks for sailing by with a review. We can’t wait for you to drop anchor with us again! Emma Disney Social Reviews

Love the Boardwalk at Walt Disney World. The resort is very convenient to Epcot, has great nightlife including restaurants, a piano bar and dance club. The resort has a northern atlantic coastal feel and there are plenty of activities available. Staff is always fantastic but what else should be expected from Disney? Rooms are always well maintained and clean. The only drawback is the weird clown slide at the main pool - unsettling at best, creepy at worst. We just avoid the main pool and enjoy everything else the Boardwalk has to offer!

I just love sailing over to Disney’s BoardWalk Villas for a stay along the shimmering shores of Crescent Lake. A night spent singing your heart out at Jellyrolls or enjoying a delicious meal at Trattoria al Forno is the best way to unwind after long days in our Theme Parks! It's fantastic to know you love this property, Michelle! Though the main pool isn’t your favorite spot, I’m glad you were able to enjoy the surrounding activities and leisure pools nearby. Overall, I can “sea” this locale is a top choice for you! Emma Disney Social Reviews

This is our hotel of choice when we stay on Disney Property, we are big Disney fans, have been to Disney 25+ times are part of Disney Vacation Club so have stayed at most of the Disney Hotels The hotel is in a great location with excellent access to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. we always walk to both but you can catch the boat. We loved this place before it was refurbished and love it more now. We generally have a studio which has a big bed, sofa bed, pull down bed and table, it will sleep 5 but it would be crowded. There are bigger rooms at other hotels and there are hotels where parking is closer, but you cant beat the location. There are long corridors to the rooms, this hotel is big. There are lots of comments that there is a long way to walk to your room, this is Disney, you will be walking miles round the parks . From experience we always ask for a high floor and have a river or pool view as it can get very noisy on the Boardwalk when the nightclub closes. If it rains and you dont have Valet parking you will get wet getting to your car, but the location is the best.

First and foremost, thank you so much for being a part of the Disney Vacation Club family! I'm thrilled to hear you've stayed at most of our Resort Hotels, but I'm so happy to know you've found your home away from home at Disney's BoardWalk Villas. To me, there's no surprise this has become one of your favorites, and you mention the exact reason: its location! Nothing beats being able to walk to two of four of our Theme Parks, especially with such a beautiful waterfront view! I really appreciate you swinging by with this review! When you've broken that 30+ visit threshold, be sure to come back and share another review with us about the Resort you chose to stay at for the milestone! Pete Disney Social Reviews

I spend half of my WDW trip at this resort (4 nights). I was here when Dorian closed the parks for part of the day on the 3rd of September. The resort exceeded my expectations. Very quick check in, nice bedroom with balcony, perfect for the three of us. Although not as stunning as Animal Kingdom, I got the Boardwalk for a great value. The Hotel is nevertheless beautiful, as is the Boardwalk itself. 4 nights is enough time to enjoy some of the activities, we loved the magician, the pool, and the character interaction at the Boardwalk. I had one of the best ice creams ever at Ample Hills! The pool (with the - possibly scary - clown) was fun, and so was the large slide. Transportation was ok, but we spent most of our time at Hollywood studios, so we would get a Lyft for less than 4 usd / return walking - 15 minutes (you can also walk to Epcot). Mind the heat, as returning at night is great, during the day it might be a nightmare. The slightly negative aspect of the resort is the lack of onsite dining options, but you have a lot of restaurants nearby. Another great Disney resort that I would highly recommend, particularly considering the cost, as I paid a total of 680 usd for 4 nights.

I'm so happy to hear your expectations of Disney's BoardWalk Villas were blown out of the water! Personally, this is my favorite Resort, and I'm ecstatic to know you were able to experience everything it has to offer, from the delicious treats to the overall atmosphere. On top of that, the location of the Resort itself is definitely unbeatable - what's better than being able to walk to two of our Theme Parks straight from your room? Thanks for sharing this review with us! No matter where you choose to stay next, I'm certain you'll have an amazing time. Pete Disney Social Reviews

not a fan! We are HUGE Disney fans. 30 plus visits in 24 years. We have stayed at 8 of the resorts. Boardwalk is a great location, which is why I give it 3 stars (it is a 5 star LOCATION) BUT, the staff is not nearly as friendly as other resorts. Bell services were rude. The studio has the smallest bathroom I have seen in any studio. You can hear your next door neighbors (something I have only ever encountered in one other resort, that being the Contemporary). The bed was not comfy. The resort is extremely spread out. I will not come back. Beach club FAR exceeds this resort across the lake!

With so many visits under your belt, I’m saddened to know this Resort didn’t deliver the magical experience you’ve come to expect from us. I sincerely apologize for this. I’m especially sorry for the disappointing interaction you had with the individual on the Bell Services team. We expect our Cast Members to maintain our company’s reputation for exceptional Guest service, so I appreciate you sharing this with us. Whether your next visit brings you to Disney’s Beach Club Villas or to another one of our wonderful properties, I hope we get to welcome you and your family back soon. AJ Disney Social Reviews

The coffee they provide is nice. The store on Boardwalk sells the necessary. Otherwise bring your own. Bring the large filters and cut them down if necessary

I Reccomend TouringPlans website. They have a section that has interactive maps. Those maps will help you to better visualize it. Note that these type of rooms are in the left "wing" of the building and the Inn is to the right of the lobby.

I'll do my best to answer in parts to each question: 1...Housekeeping depends if you are renting or staying on DVC points. If renting then daily. If DVC points you get a daily trash service then full housekeeping on certain days. 2...We've never had any issue getting more coffee. But we usually bring the coffee we want. We have never done laundry daily, but I doubt they would stock it every day anyway. They have detergent for sale in the store. As well as better coffee. 3...If you are on the first floor you will have a patio. If above ground level you will have at least some balcony. 4...All balconies and patios have chairs

They are charging at all their hotels but if you are a DVC member you are safe.
