Let's not fool ourselves. This is a 3 star property at 5 star prices. The pool and it's location to Epcot and HS are why people stay here. The rooms are subpar and need updating. The service is lackluster. The whole resort could use a paintjob. Not sure why Disney uses the cheapest soap and shampoo company imaginable for their bathroom products. At least they were in individual packs. Sandpaper towels anyone? Still, it's all about that 5 minute walk to Epcot which is so nice at the end of a long day. And the large pool area with a sand bottom pool is pretty cool.

Hotel's Favourite
Just returned from a trip to Disney World and stayed a week in a Deluxe Studio at the Beach Club Villa. I loved the resort and we did receive solid service during our stay, however I don't think I'd stay in a Studio again. We arrived early AM, dropped out luggage with Bell Services and went to a park while we waited on our room to be prepped for us. A couple hours later, we got the text and returned to the resort, found our rooms and got our bags! Very seamless. However our 1st room was in rough shape. Limited drawers in a Stuido to begin with and 2 were broken and unusable. The shower wasn't clean, the drain stopper broken and laying in the tub and the faucet could be separated from the wall when turning the shower on. The fan did not work in the bathroom either; turning it into a sauna. We called the front desk at they sent a Housekeeping Supervisor up and she was awesome and very apologetic. She tried to move us right away but there were no open rooms available that night. Unfortunately we didn't sleep much that night as the room was right next to the elevator and it was very noisy everytime the elevator went in use. Fortunately the next am we received a call telling us we were getting a new room and bell services took care of our luggage with no issues. Our new Studio was in much better shape! That said, a Studio is a tight fit for a family of 3 for a week. Just not enough storage space, etc for a family of 3. We did use the pool and it is the best in all of Disney. The location can't be beat and plenty of solid food options available! The Breakfast platter at the Marketplace is a great deal! Overall, we did really enjoy the resort. It is beautiful and in a great location with a great staff. We had an issue and the staff resolved it promptly and professionally and we appreciated it greatly. They even helped us upgrade from a value to a moderate for the last couple nights of our trip at minimal expense to us. We would love to stay here again, just in a standard room however!

Be prepared for the room to feel muggy and moldy, especially while trying to sleep during the night because the air conditioning units in these rooms perform so poorly. The fan runs continuously (even on Auto setting) which causes the condensation in the unit to evaporate right back into the airstream when the compressor is not energized, which is most of the time since the thermostats are programmed to not be adjustable below a minimum thermostatic setpoint and there is a pre-set deadband that doesn't allow the compressor to energize until the room temperature exceeds the setpoint by several degrees. The a/c units might also be oversized since the compressor short-cycles and barely stays energized for more than a few minutes. It is also very noisy and vibrates above the bathroom ceiling. We kept noticing that the air in the hallway felt cooler and drier than the air in our room. We were uncomfortable all week and will never stay at this hotel again. The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to Epcot and the Skyliner, although the Skyliner was temporarily out of service every morning we tried to use it. Good luck to anyone that chooses to risk it at this hotel.

We arrived late around 10 pm we received our room # while on our flight after 5 pm no one greeted us until we finally grabbed a luggage cart things went uphill from there room was clean staff friendly easy access to Epcot which was the reason we chose this resort. I am a Dvc member but beach club is not my home resort the only negative to the room was small fridge and tiny balconies or patio’s

One of the best options if you would like to stay at Disney property and close to the parks. If you are traveling with kids, I recommend choosing at least a one bedroom villa not only due to the better amenities (living room, full kitchen, washer&dryer) but also due to the incredible sand pool!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Disney Beach Club. We had a 2 bedroom villa at the vacation club. We are not DVC members, we booked direct though disney. The villa was nice, though starting to show some wear and tear. I appreciated all the amenities and having a fully functional kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. The room decor is nothing special - almost wish it was a bit more whimsical- they don’t really feel “disney” but are fully functional for my multi-generational family. The balconies are a nice touch but don’t have a view of anything but trees, dumpsters, and roadway and that was our “theme park view” room. Through the trees we could see some glow from spaceship earth at night, I guess that counts. The bright spots of this resort are as follows - easy access to Epcot which is a super quick walk and the wonderful pool area which is very spacious and themed very well - sand bottom/beach was really cool! The downsides were transportation to Magic Kingdom, you are literally cattle on a city bus , I was not impressed that housekeeping has not returned, pool bar service is spotty at best and there was really nothing special about the service we received in general at this resort (not that it was bad, but for almost $2,000 a night I expect a little more than what we got). The little touches, which maybe we’re there pre-pandemic are not quite back yet. We visited during spring break, which was a mistake as the parks were PACKED - especially MK which by about 2pm it just stopped being fun. But coming back to the the pool and using the ability to easily come and go to Epcot made up for it. A good time was still had, but there is definitely no value or magic here. I would recommend this resort during lower season, at a lower price point, and when full service is back - before that, stay elsewhere for the cost.

Disney cutbacks and money-grubbing is seen everywhere (at the same time Disney is posting record profits). No near as clean as it was under different manager. We waited over 5 HOURS after check-in for our room to be ready. There is no reason they could not have sped up the process but frankly they seem to have no customer service at all. The rooms are average and feel very outdated. The furniture in our room had stains on it. We requested to be in a specific area of the hotel. Not only did we not get anywhere near our request, it appears they ignored every aspect of it. Again, no customer service. The management doesn't care and it shows. The room rates are insane, higher than any other hotel in any city.

We've been trying to get into this resort for several years. We waitlisted and had the chance to stay here and it was really fun. As COVID-19 winds down you can expect to see some staff and most guests not wearing masks on the property. If this bothers you, this is not a great place to visit. My entire family is vaccinated so we weren't bothered by it. We enjoyed the pools and one of the things that brought me to write this review is that it has one of the most reasonably priced Marketplaces. We were able to order a full on breakfast for our family of five for under $60...unheard of on most vacation experiences we have especially when we come to Disney. We ordered, set a time for pick up and had a hot breakfast quickly. You just have to sign in during your arrival window. The room was small for 5 people, I would have preferred a one bedroom but since we're staying at Bay Lakes for the majority of our stay we opted for the smaller room. The room was very nice and had every we expected and delivered in normal Disney fashion with the epic H2O products. We were able to easily connect our Firestick to the tv and enjoy movies. Outlets were easily accessible. The landscaping is gorgeous. I definitely recommend staying at least once for the experience at the Villas. This villas is close to the Skyliner and that's a cool ride to check out Disney from above.

I checked in on the app early the day before so I didn’t have to go to front desk but room still wasn’t ready until 3pm was hoping for early check in so I just put my bags down at bell services and went to the pool it’s so much fun with the lazy River, slide, pools and hot tubs! My room was clean and lovely with that hot tub inside and rain fall shower head! Only frustrating thing was that the ac kept shutting off and on so it was hard to sleep.I loved how close and convenient it was to walk to Epcot 5 min walk!

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at the Beach Club Villas, and by far our most disappointing. I would do 2 1/2 rating if I could... We were in a one bedroom PROS; * Location- You cannot beat the location being able to walk to 2 Disney parks is great. * Themeing- The overall theme of the resort is very immersive with a relaxing vibe. *Our room was in a great location overlooking the pool & canal with an easy walk to the lobby, and parking lot. When we checked in I asked for a room on a higher floor with a pool view, and they honored that request. The room layout is a bit odd for the bathroom(s) as there are about 4 doors involved. We had a nice sized double balcony. CONS *Value vs service benefit is just not there. While I understand a lot of this is attributed to COVID, Disney needs to do a better job at facing the challenges COVID creates. I was paying full-price for a one bedroom villa.. housekeeping was non-existent (even on the 4th day when you're supposed to get trash/towel turnover), I had to call multiple times to get our trash picked up, fresh towels, old towels taken, etc. We were cooking in our room more than usual due to the lack of dining options (again Disney is citing COVID for this), and therefore our trash needed to be emptied more regularly.
