We booked our stay at this resort a few weeks before New Year's. We booked a room for five people at the villas. When we arrived, there were only beds for four. When we called to find out where the fifth bed was, usually a trundle bed, we were advised that their one bedroom villas do not have the fifth...

Yes there is construction and the villas have lost their pool. But in typical Disney fashion you would be hard pressed to find or hear heavy construction that would impair your enjoyment. We stayed at a one bedroom villa which was spacious and clean. We were facing away from the construction and towards the woods. The main lobby of the...

Family of four including a one and six year old stayed in a studio for six days over Christmas. Have stayed at all levels of Disney properties and we were excited to stay here over Christmas based on others recommendations. While we enjoyed our stay and the ambiance was nice we were not as floored as we expected to be....

I did not stay in the Villas, I don't need the extra room I stay in the main hotel building. However the pay laundry system in the main building broke and the maintenance cast member showed me the small private laundry in the villas. Tip here is that its free, most villa rooms have a washer and dryer combo but...

My husband and I visited in October for our anniversary. We really loved this place. Although there is construction going on around the hotel, we heard none of it although we lucked out enough to have a room that didn't face the bulk of the remodeling. The suite was beautiful and clean. Even though it was only the two of...

We reserved a week at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge through David's Vacation Club Rentals (dvcrentals.com). It was very easy and a great deal compared to reserving a trip on the Walt Disney World website. They also sent us complimentary MagicBand skins for our trip which was a great perk. We chose the Wilderness Resort because of its proximity...

May family and I recently stayed at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and overall had a very pleasant stay. We booked our trip a year in advance and we dismayed upon checking in that our room was not only very far form the elevator, but had a fabulous view of a dumpster. After pushing the friendly people at the front...

Log cabin feeling, lots of details and thought went into the design of the Wilderness Lodge. Very warm and welcoming with all the modern conveniences. Nice ferry ride to the Magic Kingdom. Beautiful Christmas trees and decorations throughout (Dec 2015). There was construction going on but it was fine.

We stayed at the Villas @ Wilderness Lodge for 4 nights and really enjoyed the experience here. First, the hotel is large (they are adding another 100+ rooms and 30 lakeside cabin/villas) and the Pacific northwest outdoor theming was fantastic. Its cavernous inside the lodge, albeit somewhat loud in the reception/main area b/c of the restaurant there (fine by the...

This was our first trip to Disney, and though we travel extensively, we are not your typical theme park fanatics. The construction did not affect our experience, even though our room faced the new lakeside villas being built. The decor felt very much like a beautifully updated national park lodge. Our room was on the far end of the villa...
