Very nice, clean rooms (suites). Hotel and room appeared updated. Large lobby area to relax, eat, etc. Evening "reception" with free drinks/light snacks was great. We left prior to free breakfast due to very early flight. Convenient airport shuttle (even @4am!). Staff was all very nice. Only con was maybe the pool, on the smaller side and very warm.
I stayed here while I was working at the airport as a contractor for one of the airlines. The biggest reason you stay at an airport hotel is for the shuttle and it did not disappoint. They have a new shuttle van that was always clean. You can make an appointment to leave every 20 minutes. The pickup at the airport was always fast. I can't remember waiting more than 10 minutes for a pickup. The hotel was recently remodeled. The rooms are new and clean. The breakfast was great as always. Great omelets. You get 2 drinks every night at the bar for free. Daily housekeeping. No lame Covid excuses here and why they can't provide full hotel services. I could not have been happier. Staff is super friendly too. They need to get the elevators going a little faster and you have to ask for ice. Other than that everything was perfect.…
Everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional, regardless of time of day or night or what my needs were. The omelettes were amazing! I really appreciated the list of nearby restaurants and the shuttle service. Thank you so much!
Loved this place for the amazing staff as the cleaning folks were super friendly as well as the bartender and front desk person. Room was huge and very clean and superb condition. Pool was fantastic as was the gym. Free breakfast was standard, but the eggs were nice. The only reasons I dont rate as 5 are that the elevators need a serious upgrade as they are super slow and sometimes 1 is down. Airplane traffic is a bit noisy too.
I've stayed here many times in the last few years. Before flights and after late night flights. For work and even for play. This was a great place to put my head down and get some rest. Also, breakfast is a huge plus. Oh, the managers welcome at night is also a great time to chill after a long day. Beds are comfy and rooms are clean. Suites are big. Hotel has been quiet everytime I've been here. Staff has always been courteous and professional. I will always stay here for 1 overnight or a few. i recommend
Perhaps all Embassy Suites have changed but this is the first time we have stayed at one post-covid. The happy hour “food” was scatter mix, nothing else. The breakfast still offered good omelets but other things like fresh fruit and pastries are minimal. The restaurant at this one was pretty good but they did not open until 4 pm so you are out of luck if you want to eat lunch.
My Wife and I stayed 2 non-consecutive nights before and after a wedding 90 minutes away. 1st Night - A begrudging welcome from Front Desk staff person after an 11PM airport shuttle drop-off. No acknowledgement of our Hilton Honors status (Diamond) or perk offered. No ice machine (apparently on any floor) which I discovered after trying 3 different floors before going to the Front Desk to (then) be advised that guests need to come there for ice — Nothing was said about that fact at check-in AND no signage on the 3 different ice-rooms that I checked AND the (permanent) wall plaques on each floor still provide directions to the ice-rooms, which don’t have ice machines. Two final irritations — A malfunctioning alarm clock — An extremely loose toilet seat. 2nd Night (3 days later) - An appreciative welcome at check-in, with acknowledgment of our Hilton Honors status and a room on the Enhanced 6th floor for Honors guests. We could find nothing ‘enhanced’ about our 6th floor room vs. our 2nd floor room from 3 nights before. Oh, there was a small plaque advertising gourmet coffee as an enhanced perk, but there was only 1 coffee pod for the single-serve machine. We placed some items in the room refrigerator and when we checked 2 hours later for a cold beverage, we discovered that the refrigerator did not work. A call to the Front Desk offered an 8:30PM visit from hotel maintenance - We were not dressed for a visit by hotel staff in our room and a request to simply have someone bring us some ice elicited, “We don’t have any one who can do that” (because, predictably, there was no ice machine on the Enhanced 6th floor and no signage on the floor with that information). If this Hotel’s Management wants to use COVID protocols for the absence of ice machines, I’d offer two thoughts: 1) This is the 1st Hilton property that we’ve visited during 2 years of COVID without ice machines (of approximately 18-20 Hilton property visits since 03/2020) and 2) Provide signage on each floor, in the ice-rooms at a minimum, of this purported precaution. Or better yet - how about a small sign in each Guest Room strategically placed …. by each Room’s ice bucket, advising that ice can only be obtained at the Front Desk. General issues - Slow elevators. Confusion about parking (cost? etc.). General worn-down appearance of carpet, etc. through-out. Light switches in room that do nothing and light bulbs ‘out’ in 1 lamp/our 2 rooms.…
As Diamond Hilton members, we were “upgraded” to a premium suite which was no different than the regular rooms except that it only had one regular coffee instead of the usual two! Later we found that the room refrigerator did not work and the beverages we had put in it earlier were warm. There were no ice machines on the floors (why?????) and when I called the front desk I was told that an engineer could be sent up to look at the fridge and maybe get it to work and it might be cold in an hour. This was not acceptable and I was also told there was no one who could bring ice to the room! Really Hilton, is this how you maintain guest loyalty? I definitely do not recommend this hotel!!!!! It seems that Hilton is now in the Motel 6 classification of hotels.
Ceiling leaking, elevator broken during part of stay, unhelpful/unprofessional front desk staff; for the money plenty of better alternatives nearby; very clear this is a very old hotel that was poorly renovated. Rooms are roomy. Breakfast ok.
We loved our stay here. The room was amazing! There was plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. The living area was nice with a great sofabed, there was also a desk area, and mini-kitchette with sink and mirror, the bedroom was a good size and also had an additional sink and mirror so there were lots of options for all us to get ready in the morning - which was very helpful. We also loved the pool. It was great for swimming, had lots of seating, and even had some palm trees around it to really add to the vacation feel. We also liked that beach towels were provided out by the pool so you didn't have to use the ones from your room. The breakfast and dining area looked amazing. We heard wonderful things about the breakfast but didn't get to try it due to an early flight out. We would definitely stay here again when in the area - and we look forward to trying the breakfast next time! …
