Animal Kingdom Lodge is like being in Africa without leaving Florida. The interior decorations are authentic from Africa and the workers are natives with their own stories to tell. Being able to walk around the grounds and see all the animals is like taking a safari on foot.

We are a family of four with children ages 11 and 13. We usually stay at the Grand Floridian (3 times previously). This is a wonderful hotel overall, but there were a few disappointments. We had stayed because we were under the impression there would be more viewing or interaction with the animals. We booked a savannah view, however our...

We have wanted to stay at a Disney resort for some time so decided to do it this time around. The resort was very well maintained, served excellent food and drinks, and the staff worked hard to help you with anything you wanted or needed. I would highly recommend it. Of course, we felt like we were haemorrhaging money but...

We had a great time on our Disney trip. The room at Animal Kingdom Lodge was more than adequate. However, don't pay the extra money for a 'savannah view' because depending on which 'savannah' you are viewing, you may only see an ostrich on a few occasions and nothing else. We weren't in the room enough to enjoy it anyway...

A Disney resort with wildlife outside your window. Disney has everything mastered and down to a science. Your kids will love it if they enjoy giraffes in the courtyard. Just need to take time away from the park to enjoy it.

We stayed here recently and the staff is wonderful. Food is ok, kinda cheery, but the kids loved it so all was good. Then my son spilled chocolate milk on the bed. I thought no big deal, they will change the sheets. After a full day out we come back to a room with a made bed with still soiled...

After staying four nights at Boardwalk, we transferred for one night at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The views of the animals on the grounds are fabulous. We spent several hours out on our balcony watching the animals and birds as they came and went on the savanna. That alone was worth the experience of staying there for one night. The...

The resort was the best one we have stayed at while visiting Disney World. We experienced excellent service from the lobby staff checking in to the mousekeepers cleaning our rooms. The beds were great, and the best sleep I've had while at Disney. The resort has many viewing areas to watch the exotic animals. With activities in the lobby, roasting...

It's been 30 years since I took my children to DisneyWorld....and this time I took my grandsons who are ages 5 & 7 years old. Because they both love wildlife, we decided to stay "at the Lodge" so we could experience what it would be like to be on "safari". Our jaws dropped when our magic bus delivered us to...
