There were many options in Orlando for less than half the cost, but we wanted to just relax and stay on campus for the stay, so this was perfect. Amazing pool, peloton bikes, pitch and putt golf, paddleboats, volleyball, Sand beach, Disney Springs shuttle, and bikes are just a few things you can do all day. Also a quick walk to some local restaurants was nice as well It would have gotten 5 stars, but they get a little crazy with the fees- $14/drink, $25/daily parking, $40 "resort fee" starts to add up quick.
Kids 3, 5, 7 loved the included watersports, bikes, nice/large pool deck (very spacious). Kids enjoyed kayaks, canoe, paddle boards- all included in resort fee. The breakfast had a good selection and staff was friendly. Kids included in the adult meal.
This is a beautiful place to stay. The Lakehouse restaurant and staff were great. In addition, the 'Rocks' bar (out by the pool) had a very professional and helpful gentleman working the closing shift. Travel to and from Walt Disney World via Uber was easy and relatively inexpensive (averaged $11-15 each way, each day). The primary issue(s) were: - No housekeeping service the first 2 days even though we explicitly requested it. Once I visited the front desk to inquire, by the 3rd day through the rest of our stay there were no further issues. - The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor each time we used it, and there was a spraying leak in the top of the 'rain-style' shower head that was ricocheting off the ceiling. The water that leaked onto the floor ran under the bathroom vanity into the corner and a dark residue was visible back in the corner between the vanity and the wall. I left feedback for the hotel staff to address the issue, and I hope they fix it for future guests. Overall, the room was very nice, the view of the lake was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were very professional.…
We had the great stay at the grand Cypress. All cdc guidelines were followed very well. Stuff was amazing and very helpful. Young man who checked us in gave us lots of information. Restaurant stuff was amazing, I’d like to thank an/ pm shift hostesses at the lake cafe, and all the servers especially Aisha on the morning and Bart the bartender at the poolside bar. Besides that I’d like to thank all the employees for great service. Young people working at the boat service were all amazing. Sorry for not remembering everyone’s name. Great property with lots of things to do, awesome pool and really loved lake boat rentals which was included. We definitely be back .
My last day in Orlando. Highly recommending @hyattregencygrandcypress as hotel truly exceeded expectations. It's not a hotel but a resort with luxurious pools, beach, kayaking, water rides, beach, pool side bar and grill where drinks and wings were delicious! Rock climbing, fireside movies. Bar on the inside. Lakeshore house dining, spa etc. Very close to Disney and located approximately 2/3 miles from Disney Springs. Valet $37 per day or regular parking $25 a day. Walk to regular parking is longer than normal but beautiful luscious garden walk to parking deck. I loved the waterfall overhead shower which made everyday great! #orlando #ishopitravel #lovinglife #traveldiva #athyattregency
