Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at AP for a week in mid Jan. 2022. The staff were friendly (Lucas at front desk), as well as the room attendants we spoke with. The room was very large and had a great view both inside and outside. The room was very clean too. The pool area was very large and fun. The resort is in a great location to walk to many attractions, shopping, and food. We had an excellent stay. Thank you Avanti.

Good location on international drive Good pool area Our stay didn’t start well They gave us a room that someone was already occupying ( embarrassing ) The hallway stank of beer The rooms were basic but clean The breakfast was served in a plastic container Only stayed here a few days and we were out most of the day

Elijah was the best bartender here so attentive and funny!! Definitely recommend coming here the drinks are delicious the pool area is great for adults and families. I will definitely be coming back here again

Finest bartender you have! I will be back to stay because of him. He made our stay 10x better! He was fast and had a great attitude! Also had our food out in a timely manor. He didn’t mind serving us 5 minutes prior to open. He’s amazing !

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Avanti Palms. Our first impressions were not good, we were sked to pay a resort fee of $280 plus a refundable deposit of $100. I explained that being on a TUI package holiday we did not need to pay the resort fee as it was already included. The manageress kept telling me that I was wrong and must pay. I explained to her that I have previously worked for Tui and had been in the travel industry for many years, so I knew I was right! She said she will get the contract to prove me wrong, however, on reading the contract she realised that they had been wrong!!! I wonder whether any other people travelling with TUI have been charged a resort fee?????? We asked for a quiet room, away from I4 interstate on a high floor { i had also previously requested this by e mail}. Our room was right next to the I4, very noisy, overlooking the car park. I tried to phone reception, but their phone was broken, hence another trip to reception. We were then given a nice room in the tower block on 10th floor, which was great. We unpacked and I took a shower, on to find there was no hairdryer in the room, I called again and Barbara said they would send one straight up, 3 hrs later, still no hairdryer, hence yet another trip to reception!! the pool area could be great if a few adjustments were made, it's in desperate need of a clean, there were orange peels, fag ends and plastic around the pool when we arrived, and they were still there when we left!!!! They never pressure washed around the pool, which would be quite normal in other hotels, Although the pool water seemed clean, the tiles around the rim were filthy and had not been cleaned for a long time. There are no sun umbrellas around the pool area, only by the bar, which is no use if you want to lay in the shade on a bed, also, the weather is so hot, no shade will make people ill. The tables around and in the pool bar area were filthy , we never saw them get washed never mind sanitised! There was no excuse for this as the girl behind the bar was often just watching tv with nothing to do, but she was too lazy to clean up!!!!. the prices at the bar are extortionate , we have visited Orlando for over 20yrs and found these prices ridiculous. We opted to go out for a meal and drink in the Millers Ale House which worked out far better and a nicer atmosphere. There were no covid procedures in place at all, ok they may not be mandatory in some places, but it was as if covid had never happened. It's such a pity as this hotel could be great, but they need to get their act together. The reception and conference areas are spotless but the rest is quite neglected. Surely the main selling point of this hotel is its location and its pool area? So why on earth do they not clean that area properly, provide sun umbrellas and wash the tables, chairs and beds from time to time???? Also, don't allow people to drink in the pool. I would stay there again if they clean their act up, though i prefer to stay at THE AVANTI which is cleaner and has a better location. Just a tip for anyone thing of staying on international drive, the lower half, from Mcdonalds to seaworld is the nicer area to stay, also, choose a hotel with no resort fees eg. Rosen, as these fees are a rip off…

Absolutely a case of you get what you pay for; except for the lobby, the hotel is very tired and worn, and the quality of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired - even for fulfilling basic needs. For example, the door to room wouldn’t operate without getting so stuck that it needed a good shove to open and close. The shower head arm had come off it’s mounts and was just moving in the wall. We even went to see another room in the tower (was said to be better than rest) and the quality was no better. The topper was finding a bath towel with dried blood on it. Management did apologize and initially refused to refund us for the one night we stayed (we had booked 4 nights, but there was no way we were staying) but relented after insisting. Do yourself a favor, there are MUCH better options north on I drive for not much more money. Highly recommend looking at the Hilton Garden Inn or Wyndham Garden for reasonable, quality accommodations.…
