Perfect location if you’re seeing an event at the Amway Center. Within walking distance to great nightlife and the Center. Comfortable beds and clean room. What really put them over the top…we left some clothes and shoes by accident. And they found them and mailed them home to us.

Tired property in need for basic room upkeep: 1) stains/spots on ottoman (Room 934); 2) cracked tiles/grout in bathroom; 3) light bulbs with mismatched colors (white versus yellow bulbs) in living room. To make it even worse, the staff charged me after the fact for a minibar that I never used — requiring time to call and get it cleared up. I am Marriott Platinum.

We stayhed here to see family after the holidays. Similar to the Castle Autograph in Orlando, this hotel is below standard for an Autograph. It is worn out (but less so than the Castle). I would say it is a tad dingy and dirty. Service is also mixed. I asked for fresh towels on day three of our stay in the morning. The Bonvoy app said they were delivered. But nothing was delivered. When I called downstairs that night, they rushed up some towels. There is no also complementary water in the room for Bonvoy members. You have to ask for waters at checkin. I don’t know why this bothers me so much. Its not that hard to put water in the room. They stock the minibar with it (for $5/bottle) and when I asked, they said I could use the minibar if I had to. The upside is the hotel is super popular at night. Its like covid doesn’t exist anymore. There is a nice vibe downstairs although I’d avoid it as I’m terrified of catching the virus due to a pregnant wife. The downside was breakfast. It was a nightmare on our first day. The hotel doesn’t have enough staff so we were asked to wait ten minutes before being seated. Then we waited another 45 mins before being served. Other tables were seated and served before we were even offered coffee. At one point, there was a line of people out the door waiting for breakfast. All of them left. The hotel also ran out of bred. I know the hotel industry is suffering with labor and supply shortages. The manager, Nicole, was doubling as our waitress but she was part of the problem. When I posted a review on Google and Tripadvisor pointing out breakfast took over 90 mins (close to 2 hours), she called me the next day at 9am to tell me she cares. I appreciate the effort, but the buck stops w her for being a poor manager. And who calls at 9am for guests on a holiday. There was plenty of front of house staff from what we could tell (we owned a sit down place in London at one point). She said they were redoing breakfast and had a solution. Her idea was to turn it into an open buffet with unmasked (and possibly unvaccinated) guests serving themselves. I think a better alternative would have been to have a served buffet. Just my two cents. We walked down to a nice coffee shop about 15 mins away and ate there. On the last day of check out, our keycard didn’t work. This is normal at Marriotts where the card times out to the original time. When I went to ask the guy downstairs for an update to the card, he said he couldn’t possibly honor a late checkout, even for a platinum or titanium member. But the Bonvoy app told me I had a late checkout confirmed. He then told me he is in charge of the app and told me that was impossible, and asked me to show him my app. I did and it was pretty clear in the app that I had a late checkout confirmed until 4pm. I don’t see why he felt the need to argue. We actually had a second reservation for another two nights, but we cancelled it to switch to another hotel. In these troubled times, I like giving my business to places that care about their customers. This place doesn’t care at all. I’d avoid it in the future.

We were in 1134 - a nice suite (paid for with dollars, not with points). The hotel is very alluring and has deep, rich tones and stunning / interesting artwork. That’s about where my good stuff to say about this property, stops. For 2 nights, we paid approx $1200 - not cheap…what we received for our dollars: a VERY VERY HOT/STUFFY hotel (this was December)…trying to use the gym was a joke as the temperature must have been hovering close to 80 degrees. The suite felt like it had been ‘ridden hard and put away wet’ for a decade. The fit and finish were so beat up - and while the floorplan of our suite was lovely - the non-working telephone, the lacking a/c, the DARK ROOMS/BATHROOMS, that made getting ready / doing makeup nearly impossible ~ really killed this experience for us. The bed did not have any type of comforter but instead, a lightweight waffle blanket and the toughest/most firm pillows we have experienced in a hotel (the lack of a comforter turned out to be a good thing due to the stuffiness of the room, even with turning the A/C down to 68 degrees). If you desire a quiet night of sleep - I suggest you bring your earplugs. We felt like we were sleeping in a motorcycle rally all night long as you can hear EVERYTHING from the city streets below (and we were on the 11th floor). We had recently stayed at a Residence Inn in Nashville and honestly, that was a superior experience to this ‘fake 5 star hotel’. If you look at my reviews, you will see that I rarely, ever write anything that is not positive…but the Grand Bohemian could do better, much better. Next time, we will return to the Waldorf in Orlando… Pricing is comparable and the experience is leaps and bounds beyond.

Neighborhood at night is not safe. Bar, restaurant, and room service close at 10pm on Sunday. Entrance is difficult to find if first time there .....valet/entrance are kinda hidden on side street of hotel. Rooms are 3 star level....Definitely not 4.

Hotel was fantastic. Lots of art on each floor. Staff was friendly (front desk & restaurant). Pool was intimate with plenty of lounges & a covered area, plus a waiter who checks on your food & drink needs. Not the fault of the hotel - but nights are extremely noisy from cars outside - loud music & mufflers - loud enough to wake you up.

Pros: The staff at this hotel is really wonderful. Attentive, prompt, kind, definitely white-glove service here. The hotel is pretty inside. Artwork all around is lovely. Rooms are nice size and clean (minus window sills and some corners which I expected to be cleaner.) Beds are comfortable. Cons: food at the restaurant was really bad. Some flies and gnats in the dining area which made me wonder what the condition of the kitchen really was. Walls are a bit thin however when I asked the folks in the room next door to turn down their music, they were very kind about it. My last con isn't a reflection of the hotel or its staff, but just fyi: this area of Orlando is really dead outside of clubbing hours. The clubs are all a few blocks away so they dont disturb you but there's not much to walk to in daylight hours from this location.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Bohemian last week. We really enjoyed the hotel. The service was impeccable. The hotel is well-maintained. There is fine art all throughout the hotel; it is in the lobby, hallways, and rooms. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Orlando and is convenient to the AmWay Center and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The hotel is unique; the room is decorated sumptuously and not like the furniture of a normal hotel room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well-appointed and very clean. The hotel has nice amenities. There is a beautiful roof-top pool on the 5th floor, a spa, and a functional fitness room. There is an art gallery where one can buy art. The restaurant, The Boheme, is terrific and the Bosendorfer Lounge has an amazing concert piano that is also a work of art. If you like good music and art you will like this hotel. I highly recommend the Grand Bohemian Hotel.

I visited Orlando, FL for the first time this month. We found the hotel no problem and were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff. The hotel appearance was warm and artsy and I instantly felt comfortable and at home. The room was spacious and plush, decorated with art and deep dark tones. I was happy they had a restaurant and bar with a DJ that evening who was spinning lounge music. We ordered dessert and drinks and it was delicious. The issue was the area, my BF and I walked 1 block up the street to Walgreens and were surprised by the number of homeless people loitering around. The next morning my BF went to get coffee and some homeless guy followed him back to the hotel asking for money. SMH. I can only report our experience those particular days.

In town for business and unfortunately stuck at the hotel a lot just waiting on direction for work. The good part is being at this hotel. Lots of restaurants of anything you would want within walking distance. Also spent each morning jogging around lake at Eola Park which was just a few blocks away. Gym was more than sufficient for my workout and the pool was great to lounge beside and work all day. Staff was very helpful and kind.
