    Loved, loved loved this hotel
    The hotel is absolutely beautiful the lobby area is amazing and always clean and tidy. All staff were friendly and helpful. The location was just perfect, first time we have been to WDW without a car but didn’t need one, pleasant walk from hotel to back entrance of Epcot or to Hollywood Studios or you can hop on a boat and Disney buses to the other parks. The swimming pool area is awesome and even on a hot Florida day was never crowded as there are several pools. Lots of eating options in the hotel but also the whole of the Boardwalk to visit too as it is literally on the doorstep. We were in a standard room which was still a good size and was cleaned every day and coffee provided in room daily. It is a convention hotel but never felt over crowded in any way. Loved the genius touch of providing umbrellas near the door for guests for the downpours in the summer months. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to WDW.…

    Disney Swan is a stunning resort with outstanding views of the Boardwalk, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We loved the pool area as well. You save a little money by staying here vs some of the other luxury resorts on property.

    This was our second trip to the swan and dolphin in just under a year and it really reiterated our belief that this is the best location to stay at Disney. And you earn Marriott points! The location is really the best part of this hotel...a quick boat ride to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot or short bus ride to magic kingdom or animal kingdom. The back entrance to Epcot will surely get more crowded with the opening of the skyliner but you can’t beat being in such close proximity to two parks as well as the boardwalk. I do believe that we’ve certainly found our new go to hotel for our Disney trips, we will certainly be back. …

    This place was the best. Location was awesome and loved being able to walk to the boardwalk and Epcot. Hollywood studios was a little far but doable. They were so accomodating I even managed to wrangle a late check out from them. Loved it. If I had not become a Disney vacation member would stay here again. It is a little worn down but the service was great. Loved the gift shop there and they were great linking tickets and wristbands and photos to my account. A stay here will not be regretted.…

    Great location and amenities!
    Between the Swan and Dolphin their are ample places to eat or have a drink. We stayed at the Swan and were very happy. The room was large and very clean with a friendly staff. Transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is so easy via boat. The bus service out front takes you to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Phins bar on the second level at the Dolphin was like Cheers. You would see the same guests each night and meet new ones. The bartenders were great. You cannot use a Magic Band to charge since it is not a Disney owned property. That was the only inconvenience to Food and Wine Festival. You had to pull out cash or a credit card. The Swan-Do as it is affectionately called is a great value for the proximity to the attractions and the amenities. It is a great place to stay if using a Magic Band is not important to you. I highly recommend this resort and will stay there again.…

    Since this is a Marriott resort, can we still use our Disney meal plan and does the resort offer transportation to/from the theme parks?
    I can’t answer about the meal plan. The Swan has all the same transportation as the Disney resorts in the area (Beach and Yacht Club and Boardwalk Resort)

    Going with VH next year are the resort feees included in the price?
    What resort fees? If you book a package holiday with Virgin Holidays the price quoted is the final price. Obviously you will add things like Theme Park Tickets, transfers or car, upgrades to premium economy etc if required. There are no other fees when you arrive at your hotel. Resort taxes are payable at hotels in Europe. They call it tourist tax and is often £5 or £6 per person per night and this you usually pay at the hotel. But in the USA to my knowledge there are no extra taxes to pay. All taxes etc are included in the price at the time of your booking.

    Do you refund the $30+ tax resort fee to guests when you sell your pool area to private events and make it unavailable to all other guests? Or do you keep everyone's resort fee plus what the hotel made on the private event?
    I don’t think they do that - they don’t refund anything - though if they do something like this they definitely should

    Do they sell pool noodles at the hotel? We like to have them at the pool. Wondering if we need to bring some, as they take up a lot of room in our suitcase! Thanks!
    I don't remember seeing them sold at the Swan. They have the beach with the playground there so those with children seemed to hang out there. We were at the regular pool and it was adults and no pool noodles.

    Do they have king and queen traditional blankets like Fairview Manchester mills polar fleece polyester blankets? I only saw there only had ugly down comforters and duvet comforter and no soft traditional blankets. But i did see soft twin blankets on king bed and queen bed. The hotel must be on budget on linens when otyer disney world resorts like beach club have king and queen sobellux polyester blankets. I prefer harbor wonder polyester blankets or king Fairview Manchester mills polar fleece polyester blankets. But swan and dolphin hotel general manager is no where to be found. I been trying to reach him since June 2019. Sales most be good or to busy to rip people off.
    Swan and Dolphin are owned by Marriott Savoy not Disney so they probably won’t have the same type of blankets. Maybe contact Marriott and ask them. We stayed at the Swan in April and I don’t remember a fleece blanket only the comforter.
