Overall this resort is a great asset to the Disney properties. It is on the smaller side with tree-lined streets branching off to buildings of rooms, eateries, shops, etc. It really felt like you were walking the streets of New Orleans! The French Quarter side is the smaller of the two Port Orleans resorts and if you do Disney like...

This was our sixth visit to Disney and for the past two years we have stayed in the Riverside part of this hotel. For a change this year we stayed in the French Quarter and we will be staying here on our return visit. This is a smaller resort which makes it the place to stay, as it's a quieter...

Having stayed in Disney some years ago at a moderate hotel we were expecting similar but we did not get it. The rooms were smelly, damp and darker than a dungeon. We changed rooms 4 times on arrival but none were particular good but the smell was least in the final one - so we put up with it. We...

French Quarter was my first experience staying at a Disney Resort. I felt that is was nicer than "moderate." Everything was very nice and immaculately clean. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. My one and only complaint was regarding the food court- if you buy a fountain soda- there is a reader...

This was one of the most enchanting and fantastic places i have ever stayed both on and off the Disney property. Everything we could ever need was at our fingertips. We were kindly greeted, the room was clean and fantastic. We had information packets for the family that gave us all the intel we could want. The food was open...

We have stayed many places and once we stayed at French quarter, we will never go anywhere else. It is the best value for your money. It's clean, small, easy to walk to bus's and food, easy access to downtown Disney on the ferry, and nice pool. Queen size beds make it nice. Can't go wrong, just try it once...

After lots of reading up on different resorts we decided on Port Orleans French Quarter..... And so glad we did! Check in was easy and we found everyone helpful, pleasant and polite. Our room was in block 4 on the ground floor and it was ideal for our needs. An ample bathroom, spotlessly clean, plenty of drawers and hanging rails,...

Every year we take a trip to Disney and every year we stay at a different Disney resort. This year we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. It was probably the most quaint and quiet Disney resort that we ever stayed in. I liked the fact that it was a smaller resort and we usually didn't share a bus stop...

It's obvious the Port Orleans - French Quarter is one of Disney's older resorts - small rooms, poor stairs access to the upper floors - but they've taken some cunning steps to accommodate the modern traveler. For example, putting a curtain between the sinks and the sleeping quarters was a clever idea to provide privacy. The small table for playing...

Simple decor in the rooms, very clean and tidy with awesome toiletries! Check in was seamless and quick. Room was a decent distance from the lobby but we drove around so it was not a big deal. If you didn't have a car, the bell hop would have assisted with luggage. Pool was very nice and filled with kids, so...
