We've been to Orlando several times but never stayed on a Disney property until now. The big advantage was being close to everything. We had a car; and so we could quickly go from place to place within the resort without having to pay for parking anywhere. I knew parking was free at the Hotel but I didn't realize parking...

We have just returned from a 2 weeks holiday at Disney and we stayed at the French quarters. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Whilst only a moderate rated hotel. It had everything we needed but the moderate meant it was cheaper for us. A warm welcome every morning by the staff and always staff on hand to answer any...

I thought the Disney experience would be all hustle and bustle - but not at the Port Orleans French Resort. My overall impression was of quiet and relaxation. The resort isn't as big as most of the others and therefore has a quieter feel - which is lovely after long days in the parks. My room was in Building 1,...

This is our second time staying at the French Quarter... It's on a smaller scale than Riverside. On arrival I specifically wanted a certain block, we weren't allocated it but I asked and they gladly moved me to exactly where I wanted to go!!! Right outside the movies under the stars ( block 5) . Rooms are spacious and always...

Staying at this resort was a fantastic experience from beginning to end and I can't think of a single bad thing to say about it. We arrived feeling very tired after an extremely long day of traveling, and were checked in quickly by a polite and helpful receptionist who made the process as painless as possible, but somehow still managed...

This has turned out to be probably my favorite "moderate" Disney resort. I loved that it's small enough to walk to the food court and refill those refillable mugs with ease! It's quiet and beautiful and right on the river, so you have the option of taking the boat to Downtown Disney. The rooms were lovely with 2 queen beds and...

We stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for 3 nights. Our room was comfortable and we were able to adjust the room temperature easily. The curtain between the bathroom and the sleeping area created a changing area that was a hit with our kids. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were kept very clean. There...

Stayed here early August 2013. It was the perfect family hotel. Hotel is small so restaurant never full, pool great (always empty sun loungers whatever time of day we went), pool party each afternoon for two hours for the children, with fantastic entertainment and games. Pool is fantastic for the kids as not too deep, they can play safe at...

we had a lovely time staying here. the room was clean and tidy and even though there was three adults in the party the room was large enough for four. the room was minimal distance from the food court. i can not wait to return here on future trips.

i visited this hotel in 2012. As is with all Disney parks and hotels, this is very very clean and well laid out. Staff are great and go the extra mile to help. Food is good and the on site facilities are great. The river boat makes getting around a bit more interesting but seriously wear mozzi spray as it can...
