Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We usually stay in Epcot deluxe hotels because it is an easy 10-12 min walk or boat ride to International Pavilion where we like to eat dinner. Hotel is newly refurbished so fresh and clean. Room was nice but bathroom small for this price point. If you want to swim and stay in the Boardwalk area the Yacht and. Beach club have an amazing pool area much better than this property. We are huge fans of staying on property so as not to deal with traffic daily plus e Disney heavily favors on property guests with their Genie plus system and early entry hours

This hotel is beautiful! We loved the theme and the location. It has also been recently renovated and the rooms are beautiful. We couldn't get over the size of the room. Huge! We checked into the hotel in the morning and our room was not ready (we knew it wouldn't be). The check-in process was easy. The cast members no longer stand behind the desk, but come out to you with an ipad to check you in. I think it is supposed to make you feel more welcome and forge a connection, but it was a bit weird. Once we checked-in we handed off our luggage to bell services and headed to Epcot. Stopped at the Boardwalk Deli on the way to Epcot for some breakfast. Quick walk to Epcot. You really can't beat the location with its proximity to Epcot & Hollywood Studios. We also enjoyed taking a boat back to the hotel at the end of the day. For some reason it feels much more relaxing than the bus. I got a message in the early afternoon that our room was ready so we headed back. Once we got to our room I tried to call bell services for our luggage, but no matter which button I pressed on the phone (bell services, housekeeping, customer service) I kept getting a recorded message about reaching "AP Lost & Found" and that it was closed. So I walked back down to the lobby and asked bell services for our luggage. I also explained the weird phone. He just "hmmm sorry about that." I headed back to our room and our luggage was brought up very quickly. I tried using the phone later in the week to request blankets and the same thing happened no matter what I pressed. I went down to the front desk and requested blankets & told them about the phone. Same kind of "hmm sorry about that" response. Definitely a known problem with the room phones, which was kind of annoying. The room itself was beautiful! Huge, clean, comfortable, with a great balcony overlooking the boardwalk & lake. We loved it! My only complaint would be the lack of a desk. If you needed to get work done you had to sit on the bed or the couch (no coffee table or ottoman either). The room is definitely large enough for a desk so its strange that there isn't one. The beds were very comfortable and pillows were great. Liked the bathroom layout with the 2 sinks. Great shower pressure. The hotel itself is pretty, very clean and smells wonderful. We really liked the overall theme. I know some people complain about the lack of quick service food options. This wasn't really an issue for us. We tend to eat in the parks. I'm not sure why there isn't a refillable mug station in the hotel though. They could put one at the Belle Vue Lounge, or outside of Carousel Coffee. Currently I think your mug refill options are: Boardwalk Deli, the Pizza Window and at the pool. All of these options involve you going outside. Not a big deal except if its raining. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back in the future!

I was very disappointed the management allows guest to use Bellman carts. The Bellman depends on tips for the service. If this is a full service hotel guest show not be allowed to use carts taking food off the table just not rite.guest come to Disney world and spend 8 to 10 thousand dollars and to cheap to have a Bellman take their belongings to the room.Who is liable if a guest hits you and knocks you down. Very sad not to use the services or just cheap.

The property is newly refreshed and we stayed in the Sorono VP Suite which is directly situated above the Boardwalk and looks directly across the lake towards the other properties (Swan, beach club, Yacht Club). We stayed there and attended a VIP night at Epcot. It takes 10 minutes from the suite to Epcot via the path off the boardwalk. You come in on the backside of Epcot (closest to England/France for reference). Pros: Epcot access, Walkability, restaurants and shopping, refreshed suite. Cons: noisy, Club Level room is swamped with ppl (with very little manners)… Note: the property is under renovation

Disney's Boardwalk Inn is so awesome! It is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, and it is walking distance to both Epcot (10 min) and Hollywood Studios (20 min). We arrived early and our room was ready beforehand by text. Finding the room was tricky but once we found it, it was so beautiful! And we had a balcony that faced the beautiful inside court yard, an area we have never seen before. We've stayed at Boardwalk before but I never managed to find the quiet pool because the hotel has an unusual layout. But I found it this time (see tip below), and my kids spent several hours in it. There was a hot tub, and nobody else was around. It was so quiet, beautiful and peaceful! Our room had a magical sofa bed, which my kids loved. After we settled in, we walked to Epcot, which was such a special feeling. We are locals and we go to Epcot all the time, but it still felt amazing to be able to walk there in 10 minutes! After we got back, we swam in the main pool, then came back to the room to rest. That's when I noticed that the tub faucet was leaking with a steady drip. I called front desk, waited on hold, then talked to a very helpful clerk who promised to send someone right away. Maintenance guy showed up minutes later, was very friendly and fixed the faucet quickly. We stayed at room 3317, which had the following minor problems we didn't bother complaining about: the heater didn't work, so we were slightly cold at night, but not a big deal. The balcony door stuck and was difficult to close. (Previously when I stayed at Boardwalk, I had the same balcony door problem and I did call maintenance, but the guy just yanked the door shut hard and didn't do anything about it.) In the morning, when I wanted to watch TV but my kids were still asleep, I sat on one of the sofas in the quiet hallway and watched on my tablet. So comfortable and luxurious! Tip 1: To reach the quiet pool, you must use the correct lobby elevator to go down to level 1. There are 3 lobby elevator sets, one for the Villas and main pool, one small one only for going downstairs to the boardwalk, and one set of three for going to all the floors. It's the only one that can reach the quiet pool, and is labeled as such inside the elevator. Tip 2: my kids don't like cold, so I brought wet suits, and they were perfectly warm to swim in 50s degree weather. The pools were nearly empty, which was a shame. The water is heated, so kids just need to be warm when they get out. Drawback: no food court, have to eat outside unless you have a reservation somewhere, and it was cold (50s). So we mostly ate in Epcot. Every moment in the Boardwalk Inn is magical and luxurious comparing it to the Swan and Dolphin, for example, which is luxurious but not magical. This is true for all Disney resorts: they have a magical quality that non-Disney hotels can't simulate. It's something in the air that I can't define. It could be just in my head, being that I'm a Disney fan, but I feel it every time I stay at a Disney hotel, and that's why I highly recommend the Boardwalk Inn!

We arrived late (10 pm due to a flight delay) to find that our newly renovated room was clearly not as newly renovated as I had hoped. Even though the hotel is still under renovation, the wing I was in must’ve been the first section finished because it is already showing significant wear. Stained furniture, chipped paint, nicked and gouged furniture. The grout in the bathroom is stained and looks years old. We were really taken aback. We were expecting a brand new room and found rooms with so much wear and tear and FILTH. We had to switch rooms on our second morning because the first room (and the common areas in that whole wing) were just incredibly dirty. Shockingly so. The second room was on a different floor and different wing and was much cleaner. But when you take into account that the recent renovations are already showing wear, there are no restaurants in the hotel (though you can eat at one of the spots on the boardwalk), no room service, and some of the Mousekeepers do a really awful job, this is a poor choice when deciding on which hotel to choose. Stay at Yacht Club instead! Or better yet, Poly or GF!

My suggestion is is Paulann the Manger needs some training on how to treat others. My husband and I were appalled by the way Paulina interacted with us during our visit. Calling her behavior inappropriate would be kind to say the least. We are annual pass holders and come visit disney often. This is exspierence is not what we are use to at other disney hotels. So yourself a favor a book a different hotel where guests are respected.

This was our first time staying at this property and we picked it due to its location. It did not disappoint! The location is the best part of staying here. Easy walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Boardwalk area is fun and lively with a few food options and entertainment. Our room overlooked it which we enjoyed, but note it is noisy until about 10pm. Didn't bother us as the few times we were in the room at that time we would just turn on the TV. The resort was very clean, nice and helpful cast members and my daughter loved the pool area. We will definitely stay here again.

Definitely one of the nicer Disney hotels. Stayed at Contemporary last year and Boardwalk's vibe is so much more pleasant; less chaotic and visually quite lovely. A nice reprieve from the over stimulation of the parks. Staff is friendly and helpful. One complaint: In an effort to catch a much needed late morning nap, we put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. We were woken from a deep slumber when houskeeping called to ask what time they could come to the room. What good is the do not disturb request if they are going to wake us with a call rather than a knock. It was quite unsettling and we were unable to go back to sleep. A text or note under door would be a better way to go about this.

Considering what you pay you would think you get high end service. Bell hop 40 minutes to bring up the luggage, TV does not work, internet is not strong enough for me to steam YouTube TV ( because TV didn’t work). Called and the “engineer” says not all Channels work, I said none are working. I told her the internet is weak, she said “that is a different department “. I expect better from Disney, they did not deliver.
