I was staying in the area for business and wanted something clean, quiet, and close to downtown. I was blown away by the cleanliness. Looked like the hotel had just opened last week when in reality it is two years old. Loved the layout of the room as I had a dedicated work area and then separate living space. Staff was very friendly and always acknowledged me when I was entering or exiting the hotel. I also needed the fitness center and they had it spotless!
Loved this hotel, used my points for this stay. The staff was very nice and the hotel was Extremely Clean, the rooms where excellent very spacious! We recieved a sheet of paper to order our complementary breakfast, which was delicious. Has an indoor pool and workout room, which this visit we didnt use, but will next stay. We usually stay at the Marriott Fairfields, which are usually fine, however, now some are franchised out and aren't up to what I call Marriott standards. So I think tonight I will another SpringHill Suites! I highly recommend this hotel, and LaLa at the front desk when we exited was very sweet and professional, Dale when we checked in was also very accommodating and nice! We will be back!
Once we got to our room, we had no washcloths or hand towels. Called the Front Desk and was asked to come down and pick them up. When I got there, I was told to go around the corner to the laundry room and knock on the door to get them. There was water all over the floor by the elevator and in the elevator because the pool had no towels. There was a note by the elevator asking guests to use a tissue (box was attached to the wall) to press the buttons for the elevator. The box was empty and still empty this morning. Room was nice but a couple of things caused me to question just how clean it was. Sheets were clean but felt like we had been short sheeted! I’m 5’3” and the sheet came to my waist!! When selecting some TV channels, the TV would just shut off! What caused me to rate this property as poor was that the hotel did an advance deposit to the credit card the night before we checked in. We were never told about it and only knew when we received the folio via email before checkout this morning. We had planned on using a gift card and were told at checkout that we couldn’t because they had done an advance deposit (which was still pending) due to the hotel being sold out.…
At 3am to bathroom, a mouse running to me scared me. The front desk offered to exchanged room and gave me a room right next to elevator even though I noted quiet room in my reservation; and had to change again. Due to covid-19, they took precaution in breakfast serving. However, the front desk never told guest that you still need to call then next day before breakfast even you put in the order form previous night. Also, all the bed sheets had some spice smell (3 room I stayed).
I am a lifetime platinum member so I go to a lot of Marriotts. I've got to say the staff here (especially Lala) were extremely friendly and informative. I didn't have my hearing aids in and she patiently told me twice all the information I needed to know for my stay. The room was great, but then I expect that of a Marriott. Thanks.
