My wife and I just returned home from a great vacation. I wanted to write and others know that we found a really Quaint Condo Motel. Its not in a popular area just a few other motels. We walked in to see and find out rates. The lady at the desk was very friendly and showed us several rooms and...

We stayed in roon 421 and truly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were clean and comfortable, not glamorous but neither is he price. This one bedroom is very much like most beach apartments but much less expensive. The pool is large and immaculate. The beach is right outside, and we watched the sun set from the balcony. The other guests were...

My wife and I absolutetly loved this place. Sure, it is a little older but the price/value is off the chart good! The age of the property adds to the character. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The staff was totally excellent, friendly, and helpful. At least 1/2 of the staff was hispanic so those comments below are...

When I first saw photos of the Sandalwood I had reservations about staying here as it appeared to be a bit run-down. While the pool area, lobby and room were reasonably clean, the Sandalwood is indeed badly in need of an update. As other reviewers have mentioned, each of the rooms are individually owned, and quality of the rooms vary...

We returned to Sandalwood and was very pleasantly pleased with the updates. What a beach bargin! Stayed in unit 345. King bed (a must!), the kitchen is very appealing and functional, decorated nicely and just a quaint, in-expensive place to stay that offers a great beach. It's nice to not pay the doubletree prices but be able to visit their...

Our family was very disappointed with the rudeness and coldness of most of the staff and the condo people who lives there acted like they didn t want anyone staying there except them. They were mostly older who drank and smoked and judged anyone new. We all have good reputations. and felt like criminals and left a day early due...

When we arrived we decided to try out the pool. The rooms surround the pool and their was a group of elderly people that live there for a few months out of the year. The place had a very weird vibe like we were invading their senior smoking/pot luck party. They smoke and drink inside this cove surrounded by tall...

The manager is the most rude and unprofessional person - I can't believe anyone would hire her to work with the public! These are condos which are individually owned by elderly who are heavy drinkers and smokers and frown upon guests (especially children). They make you feel like you are NOT welcome at all. The pool closes early and opens...

Four days and three nights at the Sandalwood during spring break season mid-march. We planned this trip somewhat last minute and on a budget, but wanted a place on the beach that didnt require a week long stay ruling out most of the condos we could find. Made reservation over the phone with Ramona and spoke to her again to...
