Beds dirty from multiple previous guest. Multiple colors of hair and stains in the same sheet, bathrooms dirty, but really dirty and they don’t care at all, Strong smell to urine once you open the toilet. Rude and “very disrespectful” staff. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful location but a nasty 🤮 Management create a hostil atmosphere in a beautiful building. It’s unreal.
Excellent location on beach, good services, beach access, good rooms, right on Collins Avenue. Clean and spacious rooms. Little expensive, but worth it. Has a small pool. Valet parking is excellent and is a must to park on site. Great for folies
Julie and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay being warmly and wonderfully treated by the welcoming and wonderful staff at this beachfront resort with gorgeous oceanfront views from our high oceanfront balcony!! MANY memorable days and nights with beach bum relaxation with plenty of attractions and shopping very nearby. GLAD to make it our next home away from home in a condo-style, spacious fully equipped suite with forever breathtaking views!! We will see you again someday soon!! Thank You!!
I specifically chose this hotel because The Hilton app showed that it accepted digital check-in. The day before I arrived I actually checked in on the app and receive the message that my check-in was complete and I could pick up my key at the desk and proceed to my room. By using digital check-in, it's significantly reduces my paperwork for business travel because I am able to charge my room to the corporate "ghost" card. When I arrived I was informed I needed to present a physical card to check into my room. When I pointed out to the clerk that I had already checked in online, she simply kept repeating that they don't participate in that program. I pointed out that it was on the app and on their website. They have a responsibility to maintain current information because the website is how customers make their decision on which hotel to choose. It is extremely frustrating and a poor reflection on not just the property but Hilton in general…
This was my first time staying in in this hotel. We were here to celebrate my friend’s birthday, our stay was wonderful. Patricia at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. She even upgraded us. The rooms were very clean and spacious .The view was awesome and it was a great location on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. I will be staying here again.
This is our second time to stay in this magnificent hotel, simply you feel home… although my visits were long ( 2 weeks ) but I felt so welcomed and We really had all what we wished for. The room has it all.. you can live for months… full kitchen.. all appliances.. washing machine, dryer .. dining table … 2 big lcd tvs…. It’s perfect for long and short stays. The beach had it all, umbrella towels Starbucks, snacks and light meals, wonderful Swiming pool and jacuzzi. The thing that made our stay the perfect one are two very helpful kind employees: Mr CHRISTIAN Rosas the front desk manager who daily did his best to make us so spoiled and happy, he was more than helpful in everything and we really want to come back to enjoy again his gestures and kindness. Also Mrs BIANCA in the front desk who was every night there to help us in all ways.. she gave us all informations needed in the area& she helped us in all aspects to make our stay unforgettable. I really thank Mrs Bianca and Mr Christian for those unforgettable days. Hoping to come back soon. Nads…
Had to go to the front desk 4 different times to get new keys. Staff was really rude and didn’t want to create new ones. They admitted the system is really old an doesn’t support digital key. If creating new keys bothers them that much they should upgrade their system so I can just open the door with my phone like I’ve done at every other hotel I’ve stayed at this year.
We took a family vacation for four nights with our two young adult daughters and chose this hotel because it was advertised as having two bedrooms - one with a king and the second with two double beds. We were happy with the room itself - newly renovated, clean and great ocean view, but there was only one double bed, not two. When we questioned the front desk about the shortage of a bed they offered to bring up another bed, but never delivered it. There was a fold out couch that was usable, but obviously not as private or quiet being in the common living room area. A similar situation happened with our patio - it had two nice loungers on it, but since there are four of us we asked to have a few patio chairs added. We were told they'd be delivered, but after a few calls, we were told they had none to provide. The hotel has updated the furniture in the main lobby so it is attractive and all the pool and patio furniture in the common areas seem to be well maintained. My understanding is that a small percentage of the rooms have been renovated so we were fortunate to get one of those. The three treadmills and equipment in the gym were working (a big plus based on other hotel gyms I've experienced). They could use a few more since the three that were there were all occupied for the 30 minutes I was in there. Ditto for floor mats since there was only one. In the future we will book more south closer to Miami to be closer to the nightlife, but that was our mistake. Ubers were fast and affordable though and a much better choice than having to pay for parking at the hotel and find parking downtown. If you want a quieter area good for families and young kids this is a very good location. The breakfast service was not good the day we tried to eat there. It was moderately busy and we ordered coffees and an omelet. Twenty minutes later we still didn't have even the coffee so we told them we needed to go and headed to the Starbucks just down the way. Food and drinks at the pool area bar was very good though on other days we had lunch/snacks. Overall good, but again with some things they could do to make it an excellent experience.…
I love this hotel! I’ve stayed here many times in the summer when I visit my daughter because it’s right on beautiful Sunny Isles Beach and the overall vibe fits me perfectly - fun, casual and unpretentious. This visit was for seven days and Yanni at the front desk, Nino, Leo & Eddie on the beach, and Virginia at the store and beach bar took excellent care of me. I hope that they are all valued and well-treated employees who will continue advancing their careers at the Doubletree so that I see them again next year when I return!
The hotel location is perfect. That is about all that was a positive in regards to the hotel. It is very outdated, the furniture is falling apart and the rooms are blah. Not what one would expect from the doubletree brand.
