We sadly only had one night at this lovely b & b. The house is very pretty. Our room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Pat, the owner is very pleasant and interesting. She made us feel very welcome and her brownies were very tasty. We visited one of her recommendations for dinner which was excellent. Pat made... More

While doing business in Tallahassee I stayed at the Denham House, one of the historic homes in this small southern town where everyone is so friendly. Pat, the B&B owner was a delight to talk to and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at home. It was a delightful stay in true Southern hospitality style... More

On a 2 week driving vacation I found this inn outside of Talahasee, FL. It's a small town and has some history from what we were told. This inn as beautiful and Pat the owner is quite accommodating! We arrived late and she was up when we got in, with glasses of wine and a little bite ready for us!... More

A beautiful home in a lovely community. Very relaxing with a nicely prepared breakfast. My 2 children ages 12/15 enjoyed it very much... I recommend highly. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the price is very affordable. They have a variety of beverages and snacks in a fridge below the stairs which was quite nice and have pastries in the... More

I planned my wedding at the John Denham House. It was the best decision I could have made. It was beautiful. Amy and Sandra are staff at the B&B. They made everything just perfect. I have stayed at the Denham House several times and can honestly say it is one of the best I have ever stayed in( and I have stayed in many B&B's across the country). The inn keeper is friendly and will go out of her way to accommodate her guests, very knowledgable of the area and its offerings . The... More

Pat (innkeeper) is an exceptionally nice woman and very helpful. The home is well-kept with charming fixtures. The bed was comfy. However, I rated this as average because it was 95+ degrees during our stay and the house stayed at 80, 81. The air conditioning was very low and I had to sleep all night without any sheets or blankets... More

You are right! It is very hot and buggy in the south in July. I wish your evening front porch sitting time would have been a cooler time of the year. And yes, sometimes at this time of year an unwanted flying intruder will dart into the foyer entrance and in to the parlor - where upon they will promptly... More

My husband and I wanted a romantic place to stay on our way to pick up our daughter from a camp at FSU. This was a marvelous find! Best B&B we've ever stayed in! We were in the Gold Honeymoon/Anniversary room which was delightfully decorated and very comfortable. After a day of exploring the town and surrounding backroads, we enjoyed... More

I found the John Denham House on TA. I was traveling alone for work, and Pat immediately made me feel comfortable like I was staying at my aunt's house. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Pat gave suggestions about what to eat and do nearby. I really enjoyed her hospitality. The full breakfast was better than... More

We stayed in the gold room for one night as part of our honeymoon roadtrip from Orlando to New Orleans. After ten days at the theme parks in Orlando our one night here was much welcomed. Yes! We get many honeymooners staying. That is why we have two bridal suites but all of the rooms are romantic. They get quiet, private time to themselves. We have a special candlelight breakfast with photos for our newlyweds. Thanks for the great review. Pat More
