Maintenance is needed for sure. A few things are needing attention. Very rustic but expected that. Lady was nice and friendly. Cannot say the same for maintenance man. Over all cleanning is needed . Keep your shoes on. I realize time inbetween renters is short but maybe extra help is needed to get more done.

Nice lake. Nice guests Staff were somewhat helpful. But... The mice chewed through my kids cereal box on the first night, so we had to buy a plastic bin (and new cereal!) and lid to keep them out of our food. The next day they chewed into our dog's food, so off we went to get another bin (and new...

1. This is a large resort with a tiny waterfront. 2. Our "newer" cabin seemed to be cheaply built. The other family in our party were a victim of a "double booking" and didn't get the cabin they had booked but wound up in an "older" cabin that was actually in a better state of repair than the one we...

My first experience with this resort was in the summer. If it was my only time there I would have given it a 4 rating. We stayed (party of 6) in a newer 3 bed cabin. Cabin was clean, a good size, very very basic (no door handles and a kitchen made with scrap wood but that's ok with us)...

I work for a luxury hotel company. I've stayed in hotels that cost thousands of dollars a night on company travel. That said, I knew our accommodations would not be comparable, because they aren't comparable - these are traditional cabins and that's exactly what I wanted and expected, and so should you. The "terrible" ratings that I read on here...

For a family of 5 you have found us the perfect place. Whether it was the breath taking view from our cottage each morning, the camp fires at night or the numerous activities during the day this resort and itès wonderful staff gave us all a most enjoyable holiday. We will be back, as at last we have a cottage...

Just came back from a very relaxing week at clear lake village. The managers Laura and Trevor were great, very helpful and friendly. Cottage was rustic which was perfect, loved it! Lake was great, shallow and warm. Would definitely go back. The trains do start to go by around 5:30am, on vacation though so not a big deal for me.

These people have a history of double booking clients and leaving very short notice for their mistakes. Obviously this happened to me. Just a heads up that the owners are incompetent and are very quick to become offensive. Owner Greg hung up on us multiple times and was very disrespectful making assumptions about character. Owners are Toronto based and seem...

TripAdvisor guests, please be advised "Michael B"'s reservation was cancelled when his name, along with several others appeared on our "blacklist" of previous guests. Michael B. stayed with a large group in 2014 who were disrespectful and disturbing to other guests. Visitors to the Clear Lake Village Resort should rest assured knowing we take our guests' experiences seriously and those...

This is the 2nd year that we have enjoyed a multi-family getaway at this resort. Originally I had thought it would be difficult to find a place that so many of use could go to at the same time, but it worked out perfectly - and now we've done it again! We are a family of six with kids between...

Second year in a row, with 7 families renting cabins. It has been perfect both years with cabins to fit all needs, with days at the beach and a common area for activities and bonfire in the evening. Our favorite weekend of the summer! Will be back again next year.
