I stayed at Uma House in a family suite with my husband and 6-year old. My son was blown away by the Murphy bed but more importantly, the 2-room suite was clean, roomy, and quiet. There was refrigerator space for some essentials, comfortable bedding and good drawer and hanging space. We were in the main building-- there's a small but beautiful roof deck that was easy to access, and we spent lots of time in the pool in the building next door. The pool was quiet, mostly adults lounging in the sun, but it was perfect for my son, who was just learning to swim. The 3-4 foot depth was ideal for a kid, and there were some nice shady areas to relax. The location was great-- 2 blocks from the pool, quick walk to shops on Lincoln Road, a few kid-friendly restaurants (take out from Taco Taco, take out or eat in at Time Out Miami market). Downsides-- limited parking nearby, we did valet parking each day for a fee, lighting in the room was a little dim.…

Guido was the best staff I met in my life, very kind helping us all the time for us to feel super comfortable. The food was perfect, and the bed very comfortable and the room super super clean. Gloria also was super good staff!!

For our first time in the United States and in Miami, we couldn't have done better! The room is comfortable and the hotel has several very pleasant points: swimming pool on the rooftop, refreshment areas, proximity to the beach to see the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. This is my second time coming here and I’m more impressed than the first time. You walk in the door and it smells AMAZING!! Nice chic decorations. They bought the hotel that was beside it and that’s where our room was. I was worried that the room wouldn’t be as nice as the other building from our previous stay when we were in the main building but it was. Room was Super clean and they had a record player and records in it! Thought that was really cool. They had themed nights with activities at the hotel. One night was wine o’clock and they gave out of course wine and popcorn or pretzels. Both delish! One night they had a work themed party with different activities and they gave out free massages! This place is sooooo nice for the location and price. Only two complaints from me. One it was hardly any sockets in the room. I found one behind the nightstand and one by the desk in the room but had to unplug the coffee maker to use it. There was one other by the record player but only the one behind the nightstand was convenient for charging our phones while we slept. And it only had one plug available bc the lamp was plugged into the other one. My other issue was I went to the main building to use the bathroom before I walked to the store and the employee at the desk mernie stopped me to ask me was I staying here. I thought it was odd that she asked me that being that I had been coming and going all over both properties for days and no one else had asked me that. Also I felt it was based off my appearance bc my hair was a mess as I had gotten caught in the rain earlier. It was strange to me bc there are no amenities in this building the pool is accessed from the building I was staying in. and no rooms could be accessed without a key so I was wondering why she really stopped me? Then I asked her why would I just walk into a random hotel and she said she asks everybody. The hotels doors are unlocked until a certain time and you can’t even use the elevator without a room key so what did she really think I was going to do if I didn’t stay there. It was odd to me and made me feel stereotyped and profiled. And it’s sad bc literally every other employee I encountered was nice and welcoming. Anywho id stay again and plan on it. Almost didn’t want to give a review bc I don’t want everyone booking up my new favorite hotel but I feel this hotel needed to get some recognition. Job WELL DONE. That is a big compliment from a picky person with a tad bit of ocd. I made sure to take a lot of pics for my review. Enjoy!!…

Flew in to Miami airport and stayed at the Uma House in South Beach! Hidden little gem! Upon arrival we were greeted with beautiful smiles and the staff was extremely helpful! The decor was very inviting and had a great vibe as we walked in! They upgraded our room (thank you), helped us with making sure our car was appropriately parked to avoid any tickets/being towed. And Dario helped us with our bags to our room. Great guy!! They were just a text away with anything we needed throughout our stay. They have a rooftop pool/bar. And they provided us with free water and coffee in the morning and wine at night from 6-7 pm. Room was very comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet and beach access was a very short walk across the street. Restaurant was absolutely delicious too! Indoor/outdoor seating. Lively place and Fun music! And all around great vibe! Definitely would recommend as I will be back!!!…
