Excellent weekend getaway. Location couldn’t be better. Loved the room. Check in was great “Luis” as was the staff that i interacted with. Valet sometimes took a little time but thats expected since it was really busy when we stayed. We will definitely stay again.

Really terrible. I was travelling for work and it just went from bad to worse on arrival. Room - getting to the room was comical as you could see the door from reception, yet I was sent up in the lift one floor to then exit by the kitchens, go down a ramp, through some corridors and then end up where I started. Do I look that stupid? The room was by the lobby on ground floor, right next to it was also a common area being used as what i can only describe as a crèche or make shift living room for a large travel party of over 20 people and kids. This family also had all the surrounding rooms around mine and the kids were going in and out banging doors in their pjs. Inside the room the curtains were closed and it was dingy and dark, I opens the curtains to find my window was blocked up from light by scaffolding and nets. The noise coming from the rest of the hotel was unbearable. Then I thought ok I’ll order some room service and just try and sleep, then guess what they no longer have room service and the restaurant is basically a sports bar. After 2hrs I check out and into the Nobu Hotel. Do not stay at the Redbury if you are working and need comfort or sleep or any service.

I booked into The Redbury for 7 nights, only after checking in and having the money taken off my card was I informed that the pool was under construction, if I had been told this beforehand I would not have chosen this hotel. The room that I was given was overlooked by workman and construction work was going on above my head. When I asked what the noise was I was told 'Oh thats the new pool floor being put in' I later went back to the reception and said I can't stay in a room overlooked by workmen and with that noise going on and the receptionist said 'You could always close the curtains' I only stayed for 2 nights and spent 2 days of my holiday looking for another hotel that had an operational pool. One guy on the reception was helpful and did finally move me to a reasonable room. But they are only offering customers another pool a block down the road at another hotel, SLS, but if I had wanted to use the pool at that other hotel (which I didn't) I would have booked into that other hotel. This hotel heavily relies on images of its rooftop pool for its advertising, lovely drone shots on the website. The Redbury should be informing customers that their pool is not available. I spent 2 days of my holiday looking for another hotel. I think I should be given a refund for the 2 nights that I spent at the Redbury. And I think the hotel should be letting customers know that the pool is not available before they take the money!

We left the hotel on Aug. 25, and an hour later I called the front desk and asked to reject a package that was mistakenly sent to me. The receptionist confirmed they would reject it, and this call was recorded on my mobile phone. I just found out that Melinda accepted that package, hence the company sending it is charging me for that! In order to get a refund, all the hotel needs is to print-out a doc and drop it at UPS only 0.2m from the hotel. But Brian just refused doing it. Now, because of a mistake of the front desk and their refusal to fix it - I'm being charged!!!! "Thank you for a great service"!

Close to the sea! Beach service and lack of bar in the pool area would be a great option for late afternoon. Valet parking a little time-consuming but it works. The two most important points are: the attention of the concierge Luiz qyue speaks Portuguese that helps a lot and another point is cleaning in these difficult times of the pandemic, let's come back soon.
