The girls and I went for a long weekend break and basically wanted somewhere clean, half decent and the perfect location. When you enter the hotel, there was no lobby.. it was basically a restaurant/waiting area for the locals but when u get to your room, we were very impressed. A great sign of relief as it had everything we...

Last year when my friends and I went to SoBe we stayed at the Kent, but it was booked this time, so I reserved a room at this boutique hotel because I was still looking for something in South Beach near beach and clubs. Remember that almost everything you book in SoBe will be a boutique hotel which means old...

I book a lot of 2-3 star hotels as I am only looking for a clean place to sleep and prefer to spend my money elsewhere. I booked this hotel for $65 plus tax on Hotwire, and was terrified for what I may have gotten myself into. I have made bad choices, where the savings was not even close to...

They make no effort to make these rooms attractive, none! Besides having to cut through the laundry room/basement to get to the tiny parking behind the hotel, the smell of garbage is everywhere. The elavator is out of a horror movie. All this hotel has going for it is it's location. I've stayed in a thousand hotels, and this one...

This was absolutely the WORST experience in my life with regards to hotel accommodations. This was my first time to Miami, and we were looking to enjoy the night life, and shops during the day--instead, we spent most of our two days trying to get the essentials from management—and were moved 3 times, and even the last move was terrible....

I called prior to my visit about an early check-in and was told that it was not a problem if the room had not been booked the night before. If the room is booked, there is an area to leave our bags and change. When we arrived at 7 a.m. we were told there is no place to store our...

The ocean is across the street. That is the only good thing about this hotel. I paid $250 for one night. It would have been quieter to sleep on the beach. The windows and walls are terribly thin. You can hear every conversation that takes place on the street and in the rooms next to you as if they were...

I will preface this by saying that although I was traveling on a budget, I refused to sacrifice quality. Beach Paradise made me very happy! I was in town for the 2010 SoBe Food and Wine fest, so I wasn't in my room much. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in your room, you might choose a...
