Stayed here for 3 nights and was more than happy with my stay. The location could not be bettered, it is in the really nice historic Spanish district and only a short walk from everything; the beach, the bars, restaurants. The rooms were pretty small, but perfectly adequate, and were well decorated and clean. The only downside is that you...

Hotel is localized at few buildings along very nice romantic street in spanish style with many restaurants. Late evenings are a little bit noisy, but somebody wants it (for me it was difficult to sleep). Cheap rooms are with shared bathroom (1 bath for 2 room). Everything is less then 1km to the beach. Night taxi to airport cost us...

It is NOT a hotel, it is a hostel. We booked for two weeks and stayed one night. Worst night ever. Room was in the land of flies. Dirty bathroom and floors. Rude and inconsiderate staff. They should not be in customer service at all. Price is high for what it is. Never again. This 'hotel' can be a backpacker's...

Great hotel for just an overnight stay. The location was great - everything was just a couple of blocks away - beach, restaurants and bars. The price is unbeatable for the the location. The only complaint I have is that the rooms were a little small and you could hear the noise from the street very easily. I would definitely...

If you want to be in the midst of it with a lot of atmosphere in an old big buiding, opt for the Clay. Spread over two block on Washington Ave along Espanola Way, it is only two blocks from the beach, is next to nice bars, restaurants and shops (try Kafkas Internet Cafe and Bookshop!). The building is old,...

I was looking for best room rates in South Miami Beach for my holiday in march and I found The Clay Hotel. You could pay less if you take room with bathroom shared for two rooms (there are doors at both sides and there is a little problem when somebody forget to open doors for neighbour). Hotel is very large...

I've stayed at the Clay Hotel twice now. I pay a bit more and have a private room, rather than a dorm in Hostel. The private rooms are very spacious with 2 double beds, sofa and private ensuite bathroom. The shower was powerful with both hot and cold water. Location location location!! The location is fab. Espanola Way is a...

Stayed one night before our cruise and it met our needs. No AC in our room and in a high traffic area, so it was very noisy at night. Lock on rooms not very good and was afraid someone might break in (luckily no one did). Great location. Bathroom not the best and no hot water.

Great budget, no frills accommodation option for it's proximity to South Beach. I had no concerns with street noise, smells, cleanliness, or room size expressed by some other reviewers. For this standard of accommodation I received exactly what i paid for, & what i expected. Reception staff were friendly & helpful, location was great, & room basic but comfortable. It...
