I’m writing this review on a $3000 laptop I left in the room by accident after checking out. The staff realized they didn’t have my phone number. They called priceline, who called me to let me know before I even realized it was missing. Since I was already in transit, they held it for UPS to pick it up. I can’t say enough about the honesty & great communication of the entire staff from housekeeping to the front desk (Nancy & Nielys) and the manager (Sammy) who called me. My stay also was very pleasant. I don’t know why I was expecting a “downtown Vegas” hotel experience, dingy old building with smoke everywhere, but it was quite the opposite. Nice clean new with large clean rooms. I originally picked it because it was so close to the Everglades Safari Park where we were visiting the next morning but would not hesitate to go back if I had no need to stay close to the beach.…
Haven't been here in a few years and checked reviews prior and some are ruthless! Judge for yourself. We use this place as a stopover heading to the keys, it's halfway and provides a hotel with some casino action. If you are expecting Las Vegas style amenities, just head down the road a bit and there's an outstanding location. However, if you are just trying to get a cheap room for a quick stay and a little fun, this place is great. Most complaints I believe come from people who don't want to pay for the place down the road but they want all the amenities of Vegas. If you are a seasoned gambler and are going to strictly gamble, this is not the place for you. But people should know that just looking at the place. Again, want the amenities but don't want to pay for it. I found the slots to be ok, not loose but not crazy tight either. Machines are either new or very old. A lot of things haven't re-opened, casino in an area where most patrons are latin and live in a 25 mile radius. Half were still wearing masks in June of 22, they are obviously still concerned. Safety? Never felt unsafe at anytime, inside or outside. Drinks? They are not free. Good! If they were, it might not be as safe! If you can't afford $4.00 for an Ultra Light bottle, you have no business walking in the door never mind gambling. Surprisingly we found the room we had to be updated, nothing crazy, but clean, no odors, new bath, shower, very nice. As far as people being rude, every person I interacted with seemed genuinely happy we were there, check-in was empty and took three minutes, if that. They are doing a decent job there considering the environment we are in at this time. You get what you pay for and this place has some pretty decent value, to us anyway for what our expectations are and what we expect to pay for them.…
From March 11- March 13, 2022 my friend and I stayed at the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming. While we spent a great deal away from the room, it was a fabulous experience! When we checked in the hostess was very pleasant. I was very thorough with trying to determine why the price was different from online, and she was very patient in explaining the change. The room was very comfortable and the beds were extremely soft. The late night area was food was very mediocre (hot dogs/pizzas), but the staff was very pleasant. We didn't partake in the casino, but everyone seemed to be having fun when we saw them. Overall a great stay for the price (alot of other places were booked at a high price due to Spring Break)!
I come to this casino often and I have a great time Every time… the staff is always so pleasant and everything is always so clean. I love that there is no smoking anymore and my favorite housekeeping employee is Esther Guzman . She’s always working hard and with a smile on her face💕 she always ready to help. I like to be welcomed and the staff at this casino is very welcoming 👍🏼 Highly recommend this casino and hotel 🔥🔥🔥
I am reading some ugly reviews that may be unfair and based on unreasonable expectations. First, if you're expecting Las Vegas then maybe you should go to Las Vegas. If you want a great getaway and a lovely room at an affordable price and fun gaming this is it. I was on my way home from a flight into FLL and I was very tired and the GPS reported an hour and a half accident on the way home to Key West. At that moment I was approaching The Miccosukee Resort & Casino and I recalled what they did during Hurricane Irma for myself and many others. We were allowed to camp on a carpeted mezzanine (the rooms were full) and they gave us linens and pillows and treated us as if we were paying guests. I spent four nights until there was finally gasoline available to drive away. With a heart full of gratitude I swore I was coming back as a patron as I remembered the hospitality I was given and at no cost to me. Well this was the perfect time to check myself in. When I opened the door to the room I was so pleased that I decided to extend my vacation and I went back to the front desk to book another night. I did this again and again until I had stayed for four nights; I enjoyed the place that much. The accommodations were clean and just refreshing. The people that work at this resort were wonderful to me. I enjoyed being there so much that I am planning to go back in May and I am bringing a friend. To a few of the authors of some bad reviews I've read I'm wondering what you were looking for because personally I don't expect a five star hotel for under $200 a night. And one review even suggests the slots are set so they are hard to win so my guess is that if you think ANY casino has games that are designed to win you may be tripping. I give this place five stars because I had a five star experience. It appears that the bad reviews are also the ones that were at least two years old and perhaps they've made some improvements; I do not know. I am inclined to defend this resort not only for my recent visit which was outstanding but too for the kindness they extended to me freely (literally) in the past when they were not obligated to do so. Honestly, I am not a seasoned gambler nor have I been to Vegas but my visit was excellent even if there had been no gambling available. I have decided since the drive is less than three hours away and less expensive than my typical vacation that I will be going there often. Thank you Miccosukee ❤️!!!…
The staff there was so awesome. Especially Jose, he greeted me as soon as I walked up to the front desk. I want to thank him and the entire staff for helping make our stay enjoyable. We stayed there because we had went to the Wild Hog Bbq. It made it so much easier for us so we didn't have to drive all the way to he keys.
Motel 6: easy walk to your car, microwave, fridge, a desk MRC: none of the above. Front desk long wait for check-in; provided incorrect Internet connection information requiring multiple phone calls. Need to take your mask off briefly on entry to enable facial recognition. No room service, buffet closed. Clean, quiet, many rooms empty on the weekend, it appeared. If you're expecting Vegas, better get reprogrammed.
The slots are very tight hard to win the people that work there need customer service training badly. I stop visiting the Casino use go there 3 to 4 times a week now 1 time every 10 days started going to the Hard Rock and the Classic in FLL that's a real Casino professionally manage. Miccosukee has turned into a third world culture many complain about it even the staff that works there I hear them talking about it so Sad.
Not a gambler - so I am not the best at such reviews and my experience has been from Vegas not FL. Overall nice rooms, helpful staff. Internet was really poor and the resorts POS was down as well as credit card processing. Food is OK and plentiful. An OK if not luxurious waypoint!
We have stayed at this resort several times while traveling to Miami. The rooms are nice and they offer excellent food at their restaurants. We have also enjoyed the slots , and especially liked the smoke-free room
