Booked on hotwire because pics looked good and good price. When I got to the room, the bed wasn't made well, you can see the bare mattress. Sleeping, the mattress was terrible, you literally sink into it. Also, the comforter was so thin, I froze at night. It was not even a comforter, but just a thin sheet. Overall it was clean but alot of the hotel is outdated and you can tell they have issues. Won't stay here again mainly due to the awful bedding
The common areas of the hotel were very beautiful, specially the pool which I think was the highlight. Beautiful views in the evening. I recommend if you have the time check in by afternoon and enjoy time by the pool till sunset. You can also get food and drinks from the bar and take it to the pool. However I also have to mention the room which was underwhelming to say the least. Very basic room, something what you'd expect from an economy hotel. Only the big Smart TV was nice. The in-room bathrooms were the worst part I think. Very disappointing considering that Pullman is under Accor's Premium Hotels and the room tariff. Also the wi-fi was not working in my room. It was working fine in the lobby and everywhere else but for some reason not in my room. Hopefully that is fixed by now. The hotel also has a Starbucks coffee kiosk which is very convenient and there is also a complementary shuttle every 30 mins to the Airport which is great.…
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years (this will be my last stay) ... there is a lot of deferred maintenance from a run down lobby - that needs some TLC to the rooms that need a makeover (scratched and dented furniture, worn carpeting, mattress was caved in, run down bathroom and walls that need a coat of paint. Just UGH
I just stayed here for two unexpected nights after vacation, when a snow storm cancelled my flights. Located on the south side of MIA Airport, only about 1,000ft from the mid-point of the southern runway. If you're a airplane enthusiast like me, my corner Single King, Room 1101, was one of the finest views I've ever had at an airport hotel! Noise, being so close to the action was surprisingly mimimal. And I could even see the distant Miami skyline about six miles away. While I'm usually hesitant to book airport hotels, this one was overall, pretty nice with elegant, stylish and well polished public areas. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean grounds and a beautiful little pool on the lagoon out back. Area is a commercial office building and hotel park, and is a reasonably safe area. In the day, I would have no problem if I were a single female walking around the area. Although some borderline sketchy residential and commercial area's aren't far if you go east a mile or so. Not sure if there's food in walking distance? We just had UberEats deliveries. Parking is about half the rate of downtown, at $20 per night. There is a gate entry, but the lot isn't fenced in. Now for the not so positive. Upon getting to our room, I hit the key card reader on the door with a piece of luggage around my shoulder and the plastic plate fell off revealing the wiring and censor inside! No big deal. Snapped it back in place. Room was pretty nice. MIni-fridge. bathroom and shower very clean and new, but room furnishings just slightly dated. The carpet really needed a replacement or at very least, a professional shampoo. When I climbed into bed and pulled the sheet over me, the thing ripped in half! I'm hoping I don't get billed! (see photo) The mattress was a sunken in, as well as a being bit too firm for me. Waking up the next morning, I entered the bathroom to see something floating in the toilet. It was somebody's insulin pen that had somehow come through the plumbing! Definitely wasn't ours, and it wasn't there the evening before. It wasn't so bad I wouldn't stay again. In fact, I really enjoyed my stay and was more satisfied than I expected for an airport hotel. Which are usually kind of worn out. However, there were some small things that could use some attention or maintenance in the rooms themselves. I'll still give this place a 4 star regarding my stay despite some minor issues. …
Hotel structure is gorgeous, but I was very impressed by the questionable treatment that front desk offers to their guests. There’s this guy named Leandro that needs some serious customer service training. Please be aware of your duties and (re) start handling your guests requirements in a more suitable way. (I’d rather not rate you guys today, really).
