I was only here for one night after arriving early evening from Heathrow and due to depart very early the following day. Check-in was fine and the suite I had booked seemed to have witnessed better days. It was clean enough and spacious, but I think one night was enough. Sleep quality was good and the early morning transfer was fine but the hotel itself just seemed tired and crying out for some refurbishment.
My family and I stayed here recently after a cruise that left out of Miami. It was a reasonable uber ride to the hotel from the port and a convenient location near the airport for our flight out the next day. The hotel staff were lovely and made us feel welcome right away. We arrived early and had to wait for a room to be available but were able to use the pool and other amenities while we waited. The pool is large and enjoyable and there is a pool bar as well. My kids were fascinated with the iguanas that were in the landscape around the pool area. We had a great view from our room of the lagoon and we could watch the planes from the airport come and go. There is a restaurant and quick food options in the lobby and lots of restaurants in the area deliver. The shuttle to the airport runs every 30 minutes and was easy to hop on and go to the airport. Overall a wonderful experience and we will stay here again in the future.…
Worn out and desperately needs renovation. Room looked beaten. Carpets torn and worn. Mark stains and had an odor. I will give a plus to bathroom, it looks refreshed. Food at breakfast was average. Shuttle was a great convenience. Place deserves a one night stay and no more.
My partner has been traveling for two days; and arrived at the hotel at 11:00 PM. We had stayed at the hotel on Saturday and due to business, she was coming back on Tuesday; we left our luggage from Saturday. When she went to check in, they informed her that she was being moved; when she inquired would the room be cheaper; they informed her that her Amex had been declined and that they tried to obtain an authorization of a $1.00 and they couldn't so they cancelled the reservation and Expedia was supposed to advise her of the cancellation. When she asked how is that possible considering that you were just going to move me. They then told her that the reason for the cancellation is due to the expiration date of 2008, she then informed them that it was the same card we used on Saturday. I then logged into Amex to verify spending power; and informed Amex that I intended to make a charge of $10,000 and of course it was approved. Showed the very very rude Ricardo Duran and he stated that the card was declined with a "RED" Line and that he couldn't even charge a $1.00 and therefore he released the room; and had no more rooms available - end of story. In my 20 plus years in Hospitality I have never made a complaint against a hotel as I truly try to empathize with their situation as I am sure I have encountered a similar situation at some point in my career. However, that being said - to have a woman arrive at the hotel late at night; with luggage they left from two days ago; and to cancel their room because more than likely you thought they were a NO Show and therefore you oversold the hotel and flat out lie and be unaccommodating goes against everything that hospitality is. Expedia sent their customary email asking how was our check in? The same Expedia that was to inform us that the reservation was "red-lined' and cancelled. Director of Front Office Operations Ricardo Duran didn't want to call Amex, didn't want to look at the Amex app; but tried to loud talk her and say that the card was declined for a $1.00 in the middle of the hotel lobby. We had to make a last-minute booking at the Embassy Suites as she needed a hotel that provided an airport shuttle; and yes, using the same declined Amex through Expedia. Trying to obtain email addresses also ended up being a tedious chore; a truly unsavory practice of overbooking and then cancelling late check in and making up a story as if it is the guest fault.…
Very nice hotel suitable for families with children. The pool was very spacious and is surrounded by beautiful views of the lagoon. The only I would request is that a complementary breakfast be provided to the guest.
Had sugar ants in our room front desk staff did nothing about it. As much money as I paid you think the front desk staff would of done something about the ants. They just asked me if I wanted a pest control company to spray.
The room I reserved weeks before our trip was so beat up and shabby my kids actually asked me if it was a crime scene. See the photos below. There's very little to eat at the hotel and restaurants nearby are not within walking distance. Starbuck's in the lobby has very slow service and is $$$. I'd suggest you eat before you check in. Was this place nice once? We really expected better from this brand. I can say the staff were very nice.
What a horrible place. It’s dirty. The pool is alive, you can’t see the bottom it’s absolutely disgusting. The pool area is messy, old plates and glasses everywhere no attending staff, absolutely below one star. Old cigar in the room on the floor. Television not working. The bathroom is filthy. This hotel is cheap I get it but it says Hilton on the front door ONG 😱 this is the worst stay in years. What is most important low price or clean ? Can you trust anything in a hotel where the pool is unclear !!! Is the kitchen staff better or more disciplined than the pool area staff or the reception staff. Bottom line it’s completely disgusting 🤢 I know you will be your way out of showing my review but it’s the honest truth about this place. Old. Dirty. Filthy. No one in charge. No one caring about details. It’s a dinosaur it should have been frozen down.…
We always stay here between long haul flights, checking in late and leaving early. The hotel is in need of a extensive deep clean and refurbishment. Quite expensive when you include breakfast which is limited, there is no egg station. The restaurant staff at breakfast were friendly also the shuttle driver was friendly and helpful.
The room was really old and had really strong bleach smell. AC and WiFi didn’t work properly. Bathtub faucet came off when I turned on water. Carpet and Chair were stained. Doors and walls had water damage.
