I love the coconut Grove area and this hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to many Great restaurants and wine bars. We parked across the street for $12/day and didn't need the car. Such a huge variety of restaurant types in the area. Also enjoyed a few garden restaurants that were incredible. Hotel is definitely an older hotel, but kept up really well. The rooms are clean and very comfy bed. Bathrooms and rooms are very large. Rooftop pool was nice and super friendly staff. I would definitely return.

This place is disgusting. It’s my first night, it’s 11:25pm and I cannot sleep. For starters there is an outdoor club directly outside my window. The music is so loud my windows are vibrating. The room smells like mold (which is a given because the the moment you leave your room the hotel is outdoor and all the humidity is confined). You would think they would have air purifiers in the room. My towels in the bathroom were all dirty. They had dry puke on them, as well as hair stuck on them. There is no hot water. The shower tub is disgusting, dirty and black. The hotel is short staffed. 1 valet driver and 1 front desk therefore getting into the hotel is 30-60 min wait and the check in is equivalent. I don’t understand how during a pandemic when sanitation is preached so highly this hotel can still maintain to fall behind protocols. When you ask to have a different room due to a club being right outside the hotel says “no they cannot”. This hotel is not worth the nightly rate. Coconut grove is not a run down community. The hotel should hold themselves at high expectations. I am extremely disappointed. I would’ve preferred staying at a lower rated hotel knowing what I was getting myself into than staying at this place.

The hotel is very picturesque. You will definitely see what is presented in the pictures. Rooms are big, and it seems that every room has a balcony. That is the best of it. When walking around be careful if there is a wet floor. You may fall. I did, down the stairs. No ice or vending machines on any floors - You can only get ice and other items from the main desk if there is someone there. I suggest getting drinks and snacks from the QuickieMart a few blocks away. When we asked for water, the lady apologized and stated they had run out. Staff Staff are nice and accommodating when you can find them. There is hardly ever anyone at the main desk. You have to knock or call into the side door to get attention and then wait for a while for someone to respond. When they respond they are nice enough but very slow. The Room Our room had a humid smell to it upon entering. Not horrible but I did feel the need to spray some perfume around. The bathroom was neat but the bathtub was dirty. There were cracks on the bathroom walls The sprinkler system is rusted all around the room. The bed frames were broken which they tried to hide with a bed skirt. The night stand light sockets were loose so you could not charge anything. With all that we were excited to see a balcony with a hot tub but the hot tubs are not in service. Our balcony has a ceiling fan, which I chose to clean because it was filthy. See pictures Refrigerator - Apparently housekeeping turns off the refrigerator after each guess leaves and you have to turn it on. You would think they would tell you this when you check-in but they do not. The Pool I went to the pool about 8:30am to find it dirty from the previous day and no towels. The pool itself was clean; the area around was filthy; bottles, cups, towels, masks everywhere. When I brought it up to the main desk the woman explained service is normally done about 9am but the pool opens daily at 8am. I went back and forth to the pool area all day to find it not cleaned the entire day. Pool lounge chairs were dirty and not disinfected throughout the day as advertised. About 3pm someone came and brought up towels after we requested them for the 3rd time. The pool bar is only open Thurs-Sun till 6:30. I asked for a cup of ice which was received with black speckles of something in it. Needless to say I did not eat the ice and made the bartender aware. Location The hotel is in Coconut Grove, it is near the marina. There are no beaches within walking distance. You will have to drive or take a cab. There are good restaurants nearby, we recommend = Kush, LuLu, Oasis Lounge, Jaguar, are a few we tried all good.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 nights while visiting friends in Miami. The hotel looks cool but the rooms were gross. The floors made your feet black with dirt, we found a pair of men’s underwear under our bed, the staff never replaced the sheets or towels, the toilet was broken, and there were three small pillows on the bed to use. We were anxious the entire time staying there because of how dirty it was. All in all I am appalled at the price we paid to stay in what really was a 2 star hotel. If you can find a different spot, you are better off.

We were there for my daughters wedding day to get ready with bridesmaid. The phones didn't work, the remotes did not have batteries, most of the electrical outlets did not work, there was a roach, hair in the Corners mixed with accumulated dust. The smell of mildew was out of control, the a/c thermostat wouldn't work. This was all in an executive suite which was over $500/nt. Spoke to manager Greg, he assured me he would give me a 50% discount and would remove the valet charges. He did remove the $35 valet charge but he charged full price. I have been tying to reach him and no luck. Don't Stay at this hotel! Totally disgusting and overpriced.
