Very chic modern design, free shuttle service every 30mins between airport and the hotel with very friendly drivers. Location is 5mins to the airport, lots of rideshare nearby to get you to where you want to go as well. Restaurant downstairs had great wings that taste exactly like Korean Fried Chicken wings from Bonchon. Front desk staff not too friendly and accomodating as other hotels am used to especially living in Vegas. They definitely need to improve on this because even thought the design is modern, it is cold not warm and the front desk staff are as cold as the decor. The cleaning staff was friendlier. The one guy was alot better than the girls.
This hotel was very nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was awesome. My family enjoyed the pool and the location was convenient for us not to far away from anything. The room was nice as well.
I would strongly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was good, the bar at night had amazing bartenders and the location is close enough to many places just a few minutes away from Wynwood. Great experience overall.
Hotel is industrial modern but is not near anything but strip clubs/adult entertainment establishments. Wanted somewhere to stay close to the port for a cruise but wish I had done more research on the area before booking.
This is a typical Radisson Red style hotel - if you have never stayed at a Radisson Red do not expect luxury and spacious rooms. New, Trendy, Modern, European style. Basic and comfortable. Very similar to Aloft style hotels. If you are looking for luxury this is not your hotel. Great place to stay for a night or two at a decent price. Pro's: New Hotel, Awesome pool, bar well stocked, FREE PARKING, TV channels good, AC comfortable, Bed firm, accommodating staff, interesting interior. Cons: Nothing around hotel to do - need a car to go to places, right over flight patterns so you will hear planes 24/7, hotel can get noisy if people above you move furniture on wooden floors, bathroom limited space to put your tolietries, room cleaning only every three days. Great to stay if you get a good price. Do not recommend paying extra for corner rooms - room isn't much larger than normal ones…
We stayed at the Radisson Red Miami Airport last week en route to the Caribbean. The shuttle between the hotel and airport runs every 30 minutes, so waited about 25 minutes. The hotel is located close to the airport, but in an old warehouse district. The hotel was reminiscent of a W Hotel; albeit, a scaled-down version. They have a casual bar area with dining, and they did a nice job with dinner. There was a pool that seemed to be getting quite a bit of use. No upgrades or any elite recognition at all, including the dining discount, but service wasn't exactly stellar. The desk clerk never got out of her chair to check us in. This was repeated on check-out, as well. The front desk staff truly needs some training, as they clearly portrayed an image of hating their jobs. The room was comfortable and trendy. They truly did a nice job on the architecture, fixtures, and so on. Well done! In terms of location, it worked as a transit hotel, but there is absolutely nothing out the front door of the hotel. You are stuck. I'd return if needing a single night while traveling through MIA. Hopefully, they get the service kinks worked out.…
Pluses: -Location is perfect for a one-night stay with an early flight. My husband was able to return our rental car and walk back to the hotel in about 10 minutes. -Shuttle to the airport was right on time (6am) and got us to our gate in less than 10 minutes. -Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Cons: -While the modern design is very cool, it's clear that the designer never thought about people actually being *in* it: the walls are flat and white, which might've been nice for two weeks after opening, but now they all look grimy and scuffed. This is both in the hallways and inside the room. It was clean, but the scruffy walls really made it look dingy. -The room is decorated in a minimalist style that is horribly impractical. There isn't a closet, just a metal locker. There's one table and *one* chair. One bench and the bed. The walls are bare and there is concrete roofing. So everything echoes and is horribly loud. I liked the un-carpeted floors but again, this means everything is super loud and echoey. -The bathroom. Oof. It's very cool with the flamingo design, but the shower doesn't even have half a door! It's maybe a 1/3 door? There is absolutely no way you won't be splashing water everywhere. If you stay more than one night you'll use up a bunch of towels just drying the floor. The floor is also very slippery in the shower. -Barely any shelf space for toiletries, no towel hook for hand towels. -No vent fan, so, again, everything is super loud and echoey. -Very thin walls. We luckily had mostly quiet neighbors, but you could hear every banged door on the hallway, which was very annoying. So, overall...I guess you could do worse for a one-night stay. It's conveniently close to the airport, but the design choices are bad and impractical. It's modern right now but will look horribly dated in about two more years. We brought in our dinner but the restaurant looked decent, and it's good that it's there because it's not close to any other places to eat.…
My wife and I arrived at the hotel at 2am excited for a good night's sleep before our anniversary cruise. When I arrived, the computer system was down. Instead of honoring my reservation, they told me that I was unable to stay with them that night and that I would need to WALK DOWN THE STREET to find another hotel. Instead of giving me anything in writing, they took my information and told me that they would be giving me a refund. With no refund, I issued a chargeback. Two months later they now are disputing it. Do not stay here if you value your money and your sanity. Absolutely awful.
Recommended, near highway and airport. Nice, clean with the possibility for buffet breakfast. The only thing is the thin walls, you can hear all the talking and walking. But not the plains going. Will be staying here for sure next time. Very convenient
Nice modern, new facilities Nice, modern new facilities. The bed was comfortable. We liked the new modem concrete esthetic different in a good kind of way. The service at front desk was slow we arrived at 7:45pm only one person at front desk. Few people were waiting. The food at the bar was gross, so we couldn’t eat it dry cold never again. I feel bad because while food was bad the kitchen staff was amazing Modesta and Jenni were wonderful. The Continental breakfast was overpriced $15.50, French toast were cold but again wait staff were amazing.
