I can't believe the positive reviews, some people calling this hotel a "hidden gem" and such. The only positive thing about this hotel is the comfortable bed (the mattress is great), but that's about it. The staff at the front desk are some of the most unfriendly I have ever encountered. Not a single "Hello", "How are you?" or "You're welcome". Everytime you ask them a question it's like you're insulting them. Rude, indifferent, not bothered at all. It's clear that they 1) hate their job and 2) have never been trained even in the slightest in regards to customer service. Housekeeping is basically non-existent. It is done every 3 days or so and the ONLY thing that they do is change your towels. They don't clean, they don't make your bed, they do nothing. We actually had to remind the front desk THREE TIMES about housekeeping and they kept missing it. Breakfast is not included. Not only that, if you get there 15 or 20 minutes before breakfast is over, you can't even eat it in the dining room. They make you take your breakfast to your room. WTF. The room has a distinctive smell of moisture. We found 2 cockroaches as well. And the NOISE! You can hear everything, people opening and closing doors, couples having sex, phones ringing, dogs barking. I'm not exagerating, all of this happened during our stay. These people don't care about you or your experience. They think that having a good hotel is only about putting some yoga mats in your room. Clueless management.…
This new EVEN property is fantastic. The rooms are extremely well designed and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Very close to MIA airport but we didn't hear any unpleasant noise. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
First of all when I arrived to the airport I was looking for the hotel and come to find out it’s not actually with the airport it’s 1.4 miles away that you need to take a shuttle and for 2 when I reserved the room the computer asked me what time I would be there to check in I suggested 10 in the morning the hotel host told me that it would be 3 o’clock before I could check in, all I’m saying is that the hotel is selling false advertising and not being truthful
I love the concept of Even especially all the equipment and video on demand avail in each room dedicated to fitness. Room was really nice, large and very clean. Reason for 3 bubbles though were the thin walls, we booked this hotel night before early morn flight from MIA, our neighbor was listening to music and so we needed to request earplugs from the front desk. Disappointed in the policy of this hotel not to manage noise before 10PM since some people wake early for early morn flights in our case we left the room at 415AM in order to make a 6AM flight departure. So this is a nice concept hotel but the staff here did not go above and beyond to do anything for us re the noise, they had earplugs at the ready which leads me to believe that the thin walls have been a problem from day one. Will not be back and do not reco this place if needing to rest.…
I stayed at this hotel during a quick overnight trip to Miami. The rooms are great and staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very close to the airport and centrally located in Miami, making it easy to get to any part of the city. I will definitely stay here when I next return to Miami!
