My Fiancé and I had an amazing time at Aloft Miami Airport. The hotel was very modern, the room was spotless, the staff was friendly and very helpful and the bar was great. We were in Miami for a little weekend relaxation and barely left the hotel. We felt extremely comfortable and had zero complaints. Will definitely be staying again. Definitely exceeded expectations for what we paid.
We ended up booking this hotel for a day room on short notice using dayuse.com and couldn’t be happier. As Owners of Marriott Vacation Club and platinum elite members, we were initially in the Marriott Vacation Club Pulse on South Beach. Still, due to reasons that are for another review, we headed out to the airport early to use this hotel for a bit of pool time (which the Pulse doesn’t have) and to get ready for our 14-hour flight in the evening. In short, this hotel beat our every expectation and did much(!) better than the Vacation Club properties in South Beach and Ft Lauderdale. Awesome experience!!! If we had a re-do, then we would have stayed here for the duration as opposed to the Vacation Club. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is modern, clean and well maintained (the latter is also in contrast to the Pulse), and the room was very spacious! We used their pool which was a perfect temperature with towels provided poolside. All in all I can highly recommend this place for a day or night stay!!!…
The front desk staff (especially Claire!) are wonderful!! Friendly, fun, professional…exactly what we needed after a 6-hr flight!! The hotel is clean with a nice bar, sitting areas, pool table, workout room and a beautiful pool. Kudos to the staff for such a great stay!
We stayed at the Aloft Miami after a cruise and loved our day at this hotel. There were fun games in the lobby for our family and some quick food options next door. We grabbed a Starbucks coffee from next door and played in the outside onsite pool, it really was a great afternoon. We had a very early flight and the front desk did a great job with setting up our paid by the hotel Uber for a 4:30AM pick up time. The hotel was super clean, friendly staff, and loved the modern layout.
Stayed here because it was close to the airport for an early morning flight. The room was clean. Was concerned at first with the parking, There was a security guard/person walking in the front of the hotel. Parking is limited in front of the hotel but has additional parking in the rear. There were a lot of cats roaming outside of the hotel.
We had a very nice one night stay here before a very early flight out the next day. They were able to get our room ready early and let us check in at noon. The front desk folks were very nice and friendly. I spent the afternoon at the hotel pool. The pool was large and clean - there were a ton of leaves in the water when I arrived but shortly after that a guy showed up and spent an hour or so cleaning out every leaf, making sure it was spotless. The lounge chairs were comfortable and there were small tables for your drinks. There was no shade though so the sun really beats down on you in the afternoon. The could definitely use a few umbrellas out there. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We checked out very early so we didn't try the breakfast because it wasn't open yet. The only issue we had with the hotel was how incredibly dark the rooms were. Even in the afternoon with the drapes open it was really hard to see anything in the room so in the early morning when we were getting ready to leave it was practically impossible. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to find some of the things I needed in my suitcase. There was a Chipotle and a Starbucks right next door which was very convenient. We ordered dinner on Doordash and ate at one of the many tables in the bar area. We have a late flight coming up in a couple of months and I might book this place again.…
The bed is soft but comfortable, the quilt gets 5 stars for not being suffocating like most hotels. The shower was awesome. That said, their front desk staff needs basic customer service training -- they are ultra-efficient at the cost of not paying any attention to their guest. In addition, I had booked and pre-paid (at a higher rate) for a king size room, but was given a room with two double beds. I wasn't offered a receipt on checkout for incidental expenses or even told the cost until I asked. The toilet only flushed sporadically. I told housekeeping when I left for the day I wanted my room made up, and left a "refresh please" tag on my door at 10 am. It was still hanging on my door at 10 pm and the room had not been touched. In other words, service across the board was subpar.…
The hotel is clean and so was my room. However I give 2 out of 5 because the lighting in the room is so poor I had to use a flashlight to rummage through my suitcase at night. Daytime was non problem if you open the windows shades but it gets too hot. Bathroom/Shower - there is no where to hang my bathroom toiletries near the sink. I found this very odd cause there is plenty of wall space to hang a towel bar or hooks. I had to hang my bag above the toilet. The shower door didn’t seal so water kept leaking on the floor and I slipped on my wet towel. The shower also had nowhere to hold my soap, wash cloth or even a bar to hang onto. Hotel Breakfast - breakfast was prepackaged food heated and definitely not worth the price. I had the egg bites and the were rubbery and bland. The waffle was over heated and semi hard. The oatmeal had too much water and soggy. For steel cut oatmeal, I was disappointed.…
